Hey guys. I was wondering if you'd have room for a third? My character's a werewolf with major separation anxiety, recently returned to Marn from trying to get her head straight (didn't really work). Anyway, I was thinking something like she could see the chase (also love what you guys have written so far - Gia would be totally on board with helping a young shifter) and think it was something a lot more aggressive than it actually is and step in to "save" Kitan.
Let me know!

Couldn't have said it better myself, Shade.
But what I can do is say it in English.

Alright, so I don't think we have any writing based concerns, but what would you do once the misunderstanding is resolved? It might be kind of forced if you tagged along without having any real reason.
I see that she is desperate for a pack of some kind, so why would she help Kitan over a fellow werewolf? Perhaps she should run alongside Shade for a bit and try to figure out the situation first, or even help Shade capture Kitan. All just ideas of course, it is your call.
Sorry for nitpicking, but this thread has been going really well and I want to make sure any newcomers are integrated smoothly. X)

No worries, I totally get that. Just a clarification though: Gia doesn't necessarily want a pack. She wants anyone. Right now she mostly just doesn't want to be alone, but she can't just wander up to someone in Marn and beg to be friends without knowing how the feel about magic. Neither Shade nor Kitan is the kind of person she is looking to serve, but she is very childlike when it comes to her trying to make friends and not be alone, and she would instinctively look to other shifters because they are persecuted as well in these parts. Also, as stupid as this is, except for the time she was bitten she's never been actively hunted by a shifter and therefore assumes all of them are decent people and won't hurt her.
She's also not a huge fan of those she sees as giving werewolves a bad name - such as hunting down other shifters or humans or really anything sentient. The way she sees it, she already has to deal with enough prejudice without her kind helping out.
The way I was thinking about it, after she steps in to "save" Kitan, she might or might not get into a fight (more likely not - she's not scared of a fight, but Shade's werewolf form sounded pretty terrifying and Gia is a big fan of talking things down) and then realize that these shifters are actually buddies and pretty decent people. She would want to stay with them if only for companionship, but she was helped a lot as a young shifter by those more experienced and she would like to help as well. She would also be very curious about the collar Shade has on.
Anyway, let me know. I certainly do not want to insert myself somewhere that would make no sense - but Gia likes to keep her nose down around the law and law-adibing citizen and would be searching for other shifters anyway.

Ya know, if we want a villian in here we could make some sort of angry guard that hates shifters. It would be a point where Shade couldn't help Kit or Gia because he's stuck and if their really capable Gia & Kit would need to work together to overthrow him or something.

Hmm, there's an idea. Considering all our running around being incredibly obvious and carrying a shifter, it would make sense if in a few posts some angry guardsman showed up at the front door demanding to know where the shifters went.
For the record though, I don't want this guy characterized as a total asshole. He has good reason for suspicion, considering that werewolf forms are primarily used for combat.
Though I am a bit confused as to how he would track us once we just left out the backdoor or something.

It won't be for a bit I doubt. Maybe a while later but I figure this could be somethin' worth playing with.

Just a thought is all.

Ah, got it. Also, to comply with the new time system of Thar Shaddin, I arbitrarily chose this thread as occuring in the spring. Hope no one has any objections to that.
Also Gia, minor typo in your last post, you wrote "find" rather than "fine" in the last line of dialoge.

I see no issues with being Spring. Shade would might sneeze or sniffle but hey.

Hey guys! This is a friendly reminder to set a date in the first post of this plot thread, as well as in the first post of the thread itself.

Spring's good and I fixed the typo. Gia likes spring.
Also yeah, we are being incredibly obvious, so it'd make a lot of sense if someone was to trail us and pitch a fit about it. I'm down for some guard-PC interaction.

Possible ideas for catching up with Kitan, now that he's being all angsty
1. Use your noses to track him down
2. Gia can catch him right now, before he gets anywhere
3. Shade can remember what Kitan was doing beforehand and go to the alleyway
Don't worry! That last post was not a post-out.

Wait, weren't we going to grab Kitan's bag of letters before returning to Lucy's house?
Also, I have to get my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. I'll probably be pretty useless for a couple of days. (I don't really know, I haven't often been on pain meds before)
Hmmm.... *thinking* Maybe one problem will be the other's solution. (For now) I'm going to post Kitan as if he left to go retrieve his bag. In the meantime, you guys chat it up about collars and werewolf-stuff at Lucy's house. That way you guys can (if you want to) keep posting while I'm busy being on pain medication and bein groggy for the duration of thursday-friday.
If anyone has any problems with this half-assed, semi-ignorant plan I just whipped up, you have until tomorrow morning to get through to me so I can fix my post in time. Otherwise I guess we're waiting until saterday.
Sorry for the inconvenience. :/
EDITO: So, it has now been (roughly) decided upon by Shade and I in chat that we'll wait a couple days and get things back on track+clear up misconceptions manually. Edits may or may not become needed at some point, we'll figure it out next time we all wind up in chat. >_<
