Player name: Shoggy
Name: Eduinne Lazred
Nickname: Ed
Age: 20
Race: Human
Physical Description:
-Head: Eduinne has very short, straight, unkempt hair. His eyes and ears are slightly bigger than the average and his nostrils are wide. Ed's face is somewhat thin and lacks facial hair.
-Body: He is fair-skinned and is 5'8'' feet tall. He has an medium-slim build, and his muscle mass is below average.
-Cloth: Ed usually wears a dark blue, long-sleeved jacket, gray pants fastended by a leather belt and brown leather shoes. He preffers to use common cloth as it helps him go unnoticed in most places.
Possessions:
-Charm: Edduinne wears it at the height of his chest. It's a circular stone that doubles the size of a bishan with a star and a flaming eye inside etched on it. It has, of course, magical properties, since it might ward off lesser beins summoned from the astral plane.
-Silver shortsword: It hangs from his belt, and besides of being a weapon, it is a necessary tool for some ceremonies.
-Leather bag: The rest of Ed's items are stored in it. Looks like a simple bag but it has a double leather cover and a secret pocket inside located in... well, it's secret. It's about the size and shape of a purse and it has a long strap. Ed wears the purse at the height of his waist, on the right side. The strap crosses his torso in a diagonal way and ends up on his left shoulder.
-Mortar and Pestle: Used to grind spices and basic ingredients.
-Glass Pots: 3 small pots made out of thick glass and covered with corks. Each one has it's own pocket inside the bag, and they're used to contain potions. They are reusable, but they must be washed between each fill. Just in case, who knows.

-Acolyte Robes: Used during rituals, represent the anonymity and submission of the man towards the gods. They're red and come with a rope tied aroung the waist and a hood.
-Notebook: It's filled with information of the creatures in the astral plane, along with ways to summon them, like star alignment and ingredients, and how to expel them. Given to him by his former master, Eduinne has continued compiling this collection of notes throughout his journeys, and it's contents are entirely of esoteric nature. It has a leather cover, and it shows clear signs of deterioration. It's kept inside the bag's secret pocket.
-Wand: A 1 foot long wand. It's been craved in wood and it's hollow on the inside to channel the magic energy of the user. Some spells are hard to direct, and they could end up hitting the user. The wand helps to manage the magic towards it's tip, and it won't release the spell until the flow of magic in the user's body stops, somewhat increasing the efficiency and therefore, the power. Even though it is required for some ceremonies, it is not necessary for casting spells, but it's very advisable.
-Crystal Ball: Another required tool for ceremonies, roughly the size of a fist. It's bound to small imp from the astral plane which can be summoned.
Coin purse: Ed keeps his bishani in it.
Strengths:
-Novice Alchemist: He has some basic knowledge on alchemy that allows him to create weak potions of healing or poison, which basically consist on grinded herbs mixed with water.
-Novice Summoner: Ed has just began to learn about the ancient art of summoning 2 years ago. Each creature has a unique method to be summoned. The creatures he can call so far as well as the means to summon them are are shown on his notebook as listed below:
--Imp: This small, inmortal creature is a 2 feet tall demon. It has an antropmorphic red body, with cat shaped eyes and ears, vicious sharp teeth and claws as well as bird-like legs.It is sworn to serve whoever is in possession of the crystall ball. To summon it, raise the crystal ball with an extended arm and call forth the imp in whichever way you preffer. It's not in any way inmune to attacks and will die by normal means, returning to the astral plane where it will rest until it's been healed. The small imp's usefulness relies on it's small size and smarts ("smarts": smarter than a rat, dumber than a troll), making him able to sneak behind enemies to steal something and other similar tasks.
--Banshee: Eduinne's last resort, this banshee has protected his family for countless generations. It has the form of ghostly pale half woman-half bird on a white dress. Her feet, hands and face are that of a bird, with sharp claws, a big beak, wings and a feather covered skin. The user must be near death or in mortal danger to be summoned, as the efectiveness of the ritual is proportional to the amount of adrenalin present on the blood at the moment. The user must mark a circle on a flat surface, with a minimum radius of 1 and a half foot. The cricle does not have to be necessarily drawn, it's shape and size just have to be delimited touching the surface with any body part. The cricle must contain at least one drop of blood inside it. The user then pronounces the following prayer: "Winged creature from beyond, I summon you to save me, just like you sworn to do with the father of my father, and the father of his father before him. Brace me and ward off my enemies with your pale hands. I command you, banshee." The banshee's sole purpose is to protect the summoner, taking him away from danger, and it won't engage in combat unless it or the summoner are attacked. The banshee can't heal the summoner, and once the summoner is in a safe location it will disappear, returning to the astral plane.
-Novice Mage: Ediunne's notebook also contains a list of destruction spells. He knows the following:
--Fire Ball: The first and onlyspell Ed has learned so far. Consists on raising the temperature of a small portion of air of the size of a thumb to ridiculous amounts. The air expands on size to a fist because of the heat and shines with a red glow, giving the impression of being on fire. The pressure of the air turns so thick it can be manipulated as a solid object. The ball is then attached to the tip of a finger by a magic string, and it is thrown swinging it as a sligshot, or used as a melee weapon like a mace, but the air will dissipates after a few seconds or as soon as it hits something. This last step can be skiped if it is being cast with a wand, which builds up and fires the ball from it's tip automatically. The ball can produce serious burns on contact, upon which it dissipates, and it may occasionaly set on fire the target.
-Bookworm: Ed has been a scholar his whole life, and he likes it. He's prone to reading books others would label as "weird", even "heretic", specially if they're tomes of magic and esoterism.
Weaknesses and flaws:
-Poor swordsman: The only real melee weapon Eduinne has is his silver shortsword, and he isn't even good with it. He needs his left hand to reach his bag and cast spells, so he can't use a shield. He'd probably fall on his back like a turtle under the weight of real armor. Summing up, without magic, he's just an average man that wouldn't stand a chance against a trained soldier.
-Slow: Most of his spells need time to be ready, so he's vulnerable against fast moving enemies.
-Weak Body: Ed has never trained his body for real combat, so he's unable to lift heavy objects or use weapons heavier than his shortsword.
-Orientation: Ed has a terrible sense of orientation. He can get lost easily in repetitive places like a forest.
-Selfish: When it comes to teamwork, he's a scumbag. He'll never do anything for anyone unless he's sure he'll get something in return.
-Bad vision: Eduinne's habits of reading books at candle light during dark nights as well as his magic training with fireballs have taken a toll on his vision, making him unable to identify objects or people from far away.
-Stubborn: Ed trusts his beliefs more that anything else, but he may sometimes change his mind.
-Fear Towards Arrows: Ed hates bows. He feels way too vulnerable against an archer. He's be able to face a warrior thanks to his spells, but he's not fast, so he hates the fact that he must rely on luck to dodge arrows, and will hesitate when facing a bowman.
History:
The Cult to the Old Ones is known for being an extremist religious movement, based on primitive traditions of sacrifice and pagan rituals which some say, have their origins even prior to the age of men. Nowadays the cult is considered savage and senseless, and it has been banned by the puradynic religion. It is a secret community dedicated to the awakening of the elder gods that, according to the myth, created and ruled the Pal Tahrenor aeons ago.
"In the beginning the gods, originated in Karinor The Pure, looked into the abyss and with their presence they created the stars, the sky and all that is pure and right. They ruled over countless planets and starts for centuries of centuries, until one day a planet was tainted with the seed of impurity. Pal Tahrenor was filled with monstrosities. Sickening creatures roamed freely around the globe and cansumed each other in a nauseating mixture of flesh and guts at will. They all rolled over themselves and procreated and befriended each other, corrupting the soil and tainting it red and white with their bodily fluids. Some gods were amused and fascinated by the pleasures and thoughts their bodies contained, and so they too became corrupted, traping their essence inside a physical appearance, and joining these creatures in their feast. They gained the ability to feel joy, envy, lust, hartred and other gruesome sensations. The remaining gods were disgusted and fought their brothers, but they were overwhelmed by the power of the material form of their kin, and they were exiled to another dimension..."
