Locusts?

Just took some grasshopper pictures. They're tiny right now, compared to what they grow to, so it's gonna be really annoying when they are fully grown and like, on the move. Do you get many of these where you live?

Instead of sheep you should have pet frogs.

Then we'd have a plague of frogs! D:

And yes, I'm in Victoria, Australia. :D

When I took those photos, they were all out on the grass. Later that day, heaps moved over the concrete out the back and they're all piled up around the firewood that's stacked out the back. It's gross! I can't go outside without shoes now. ):

They tried that up North with toads. It... didn't go well.

Ick.

Speaking for the south of England here, we don't get anything of that kinda magnitude.

Get a lizard... a really big one!

Haha, the cane toads were for cane beetles. And besides, we have plenty of birds and lizards about, all eating their fill. It doesn't make a difference. When these locusts start to fly and move around, it's like huge dust clouds from a distance, and they're everywhere. Your car gets coated in guts. It's pretty funny sometimes when you see other cars and their whole windshield is so covered in guts that you're surprised they can even see through it. Good thing there aren't as many on the road as there are in the paddocks alongside it though! Stupid bugs...

Yet another reason while people shouldn't live there.

Hey, we have at least three non-dangerous species here!

Sure, none of them are native, but that's beside the point.

Ahahaha! Yes, quite true. My least favourite native species is kangaroos, little ratty bastards, getting all over the road when I'm trying to drive and then having the audacity to get themselves squashed all over the road so that you have to choose between swerving around their mangled corpses or getting it all on your car and such. Probably smells worse than a windshield coated in locusts, too.
