An Interesting Game

Thanks to the latest episode of Extra Credit ( http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/ ... bat-Gaming ) I have found a most unusual game. While you need a facebook or twitter account to play (and no, it's not one of those stupid facebook games that I would never touch, rest assured), it's like one of those old . . . I don't know. You focus on stuff other than fighting. There's intrigue. And stuff. Go look at it. Or, go watch extra credit and then try it.

It's a story. You make it happen.

edit - it's actually kind of fun to pick one of your own characters and pick the options with that character in mind. I picked Saruna, and so far have made her main stat 'watchful.' It's very simple, but fun.

edit 2 - aww, it's one of those so-many-actions-per-day games. A little disappointing, but good enough, I spose, for something to do during breaks at work.

I used an old neglected twitter account and changed it so none of my actual real life friends would find out I'm such a nerd. >>

twitter name is Saruna_Rischett

Gawd, even my comic book geek friend gives me odd looks whenever I try to talk about writing and characters and rp. :(

That's weird. I consider this the least "nerdy" of all things considered such. I mean, it's just writing, right? They wouldn't call authors and film-writers nerdy! Then again, maybe they would; I don't know your friends.

... Or do I?

Friend me on facebook and you can confess your fears to me. I'm Mad Scientist, the one with Nikolai Technus (this guy http://img.freebase.com/api/trans/image ... xwidth=110 ) as a profile pic.

Come on Saruna, be out and proud! (I've considered getting a tshirt printed that just says "I'm a geek. Deal with it.")

Don't worry! I went crazy and had to rid myself of Nightmares to get back hoooooome. But I added you on FB anyway, on an account I didn't even know I had! Can't have made it more than a year or two ago though, since the name's Elanymire Te Ortyn.
