Here goes, then. My name is Lei/Erin, and you can find me on the Ayenee.com boards under the name Lorelei Septentrionne; I have been a text-based roleplayer for 10 years this year. My main character, Lorelei, actually has produced her own tripartite novel, which I am currently working on when I take breaks from roleplay.
I do hope you can forgive me for this terrible intro, but its getting late and I've been working on this character for about three hours.

Full Name: Tairi Shyam (pronounced Tie-ruhee Shee-ahm. The “r” here sounds like a Japanese “r”.)
Alias: Essene “Essie” Jai (used for the humanoid form)

Date of Birth: Unknown.
Zodiac Sign: Cancer
Race: Pureblood Fae. (Moon based)

o Misplaced Adjustments; Quirks: Intense focus on others that leads her to have a shattered self-image. Wildly chaotic and changing, moody.
VI. Proficiencies
o No martial proficiencies known.
VIII. Innates
o Personal transmutation: size. Tairi can change her size at will; however, she cannot change her features unless she activates a glamour.
o Flight: small form only. In any size larger than a small creature (no larger than a cat) Tairi cannot fly; her faerie’s wings are not strong enough.
o Faerie Fire. A small glow of magical energy that can outline objects or be used in cantrips. Harmless.
IX. Offensive Abilities
o Dreamy. A vocal effect. Using a faerie song, Tairi can induce all creatures that cannot defend themselves (you must announce a reason why you are immune before the beginning of a battle with her) to fall into a half-sleep state. Creatures are still able to act, but are now half in Tairi’s magical world, whether they are magical or not.
o Summon Dream. Using creatures under the effect of Dreamy, Tairi can draw out pieces of their “dreams” as solid objects (e.g. an egg, a leaf, a cat, etc.) These “dreams” are based on a character’s race, class and personality.
o Create Nightmare. With the “dreams” summoned, Tairi can create “summon monsters.” At her current level, however, Tairi cannot control what is created when she combines the dreams. However, as she progresses, this ability will refine itself.
X. Defensive Abilities
o Scream: when threatened, Tairi produces a high-pitch shriek that shatters glass and stuns any creatures within a twenty-foot radius. Stun effect lasts two minutes. Can only use this ability once per battle; once a creature is alerted to the ability, it can shield itself upon any successive uses.
o Shock: Every five minutes, Tairi can make a touch attack to any creature’s bare skin in an attempt to deal lightening damage. This effect can only stun, and lasts five minutes.
o Glamour. For up to three hours a day, Tairi can maintain a glamour that allows her to appear as a young elvish woman. The glamour shrinks the size of her ears and hides the strange proportions of her body (including the unusual length of her hands and feet). However, anyone alerted to the glamour or who suspects something is amiss will immediately be capable of seeing through the trick.
XIII. Ordnance; Weapons
o None.
XIV. Caparison; Armor; Clothing
o Deep purple, blue, and silver gossamer skirt.
o Bodice of deep purple; opalescent.
o Ribbons worn on forearms and around waist, attached are many silver bells that jingle when she walks.
o A large blue-purple hat, never removed.
XVI. Accessories
o Amulet: Large silver pendant with a dark purple inset stone.
o Rings: Several, kept in a pouch at her side when not adorning her fingers.
o Charms: Several. Wears numerous bangles and earrings around ankles, wrists, etc.
o Runes: None.
o Necklace: Silver chain; holds the amulet.
XVII. Explanation
Tairi is a young fae whose main power is the controlling of dreams. In a land where magic’s logic is akin to a dream’s logic, the ability to control a dream is not particularly surprising; however, Tairi’s magic, so far, is unique to her alone. Three stages of control are necessary to manifest her powers – one, she must induce those around her to fall into a dream-like state; two, she must draw from each of them a creature or an object; and three, she must combine those objects, thereby producing a “monster” that responds to her commands and fights the very foes the objects have been drawn from. Tairi can also draw such objects from friends and allies with no negative effects.
