Summary: While out cutting wood, Kori and Rosemary meet a stray domestic dragon.

Guys. Plot idea.

Kori and Derin run into an NPC whose chickens are being stolen by Dragon on the outskirts of the forest. They need... something. Let's say that Derin hasn't got a clue how to find wood of the quality she needs and this guy has some. He agrees to trade the wood for a service -- they must slay the great devil-beast who terrorises his chickens. He talks up this horrible beast as some powerful killing monster, and they go out all armed and ready to find... Dragon.

Sure. Cause Kori will have his daggers and the wood axe.

BTW Stella, how would you feel about Kori adopting Dragon? I don't care either way, but it seems slightly more in character.. he has a forge, for instance, and understands the concept of pets and companions, whereas Derin (being neglectful of physical discomfort) probably lights less fires than most people and doesn't understand the concept of companionship that well. Although if Dragon prefers Derin then I'm sure they could figure it out (she's not as intimidating as Kori, I guess)... it depends on what makes more sense for Dragon's character.

Tbh it doesn't matter to me personally, but he is more likely to attach to Derin because she's female.

Hey~! So I ended my last thread with Fay crawling into the woods in full fox form, bleeding and whimpering from a completely 35-1 bar fight. I was thinking one of the three of you could find Fay and keep her for a bit. Likely when she wakes up and is actually in a lot less pain and a little less slightly poisoned she'll want to leave but since you guys find her as a fox I'm pretty sure Kori'll want to keep her as a pet. Or Derin will... or Dragon will want to eat her. Either way Fay'll be stuck for a little while because she can't really show herself to be a shape-shifting guard JUST yet What do you think?

Fay should probably end up with Kori since Derin's been established in a previous thread to have a negative opinion of "vermin" which could easily extend to foxes. She'll probably end up with Dragon anyways.

We can pick up Fay on the way out of the woods, after we pick up Dragon. If she's injured, Dragon would probably smell the blood and find her. Or something. I don't know how dragons work. Or she could steal a chicken and Kori could notice the second trail and track her down.

No Fay's too weak at this point to do anything but really whimper and squirm a bit. Like she can eat and such, her metabolism has likely burned off most of the weak poisons and shit by now - she's just really tired and really sore, so chicken chasing is out of the question lol~

Dragon would smell a wounded animal and try to eat her.
