Physical Description
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 169
Eye Color: Deep Brown
Hair: A deep brown the covers his eyes as well as matches them. Hair no longer than his neck. Straight, but brushed with a curve.
Body: Callandor's body is athletic, but on the lean side more than the muscle side. He is Caucasian, but his skin is pale and most of his body has little hair on it. No freckles, acne, or other skin diseases.
Clothing: Callandor wears black leather boots, black socks, brown trousers, a white overshirt, a green vest, studded leather armor, leather fingerless-gloves, all concealed under a long and flowing brown cloak.
Possessions
Weapons
Callandor wields a long sword with blackened metal and a crystal handle. The weapon is known to give strong magical powers to the user, but that was a long time ago and now only possesses an especially sharp blade. The sword's name is also unknown, although Callandor has looked in many books for it's true name.
Callandor's secondary weapons are the throwing knives in each of his boots and sleeves. These small daggers are especially designed to fit Callandor's hands and are thrown to seriously wound rather than kill. They are very harmful, but not fatal.
Armor
Callandor wears studded leather armor in public, but has twin-braided chain mail for battles, along with a full set of standard-issue armor, minus the helm.
Other
Callandor carries three small purses at his belt. The most inner purse carries his gold. The second carries bandages and small doses of morphine. The third purse carries one royally sealed letter.
Callandor also carries a large backpack full of daily essentials and three odd items. The first is a drawing of a fair lady next to a white pine on the shore of a small pond. The drawing is battered, yet preserved. The second item is a golden ring with one grey stone and runes carved all over. The final item is a vial of poison to tip the ends of arrows or the blades of swords and daggers.
Powers or Strengths
Longsword Weapon Proficiency: Callandor can wield the longsword at an advanced level. His skill is known for a defensive stance that looks clumsy and amateur, but reveals to have little opening and quick parries/faints.
Throwing Proficiency: With a focus on throwing knives, Callandor uses throwing knives to slow down an enemy or use it a distraction. Sometimes the knives can cause serious wounds if used correctly. Although 30 feet is little distance for most ranged weapons, Callandor uses precision rather than speed.
Courtier: When Callandor served as a Knight to his realm, he learned how to court and act like a noble would. He can read, write, and speak as an intellectual would. He also knows how to woo a woman, but has little experience due to his pale tone of skin and odd appearance.
Poisons: Callandor's small hobby of herbs and potions lead him onto discovering poisons and testing them on small animals. He has recently started to mix and develop his own poisons, but rarely keeps more than two on his person at anytime.
Weaknesses and Flaws
Exiled: Callandor has been exiled from his realm for being a supposed coward. He carries with him a letter of cowardice that he must present on his honor if he ever decides to swear his loyalties to a new realm or faction.
Pale/Cold: Callandor is pale and cold to touch most of the time, which causes many people to draw away from him in passing and indoors. He is socially unaccepted by the locals and has only himself to blame.
Depression: With no friends and family along with the alienation of the locals, Callandor is depressed and cries himself to sleep most nights. He misses his one love, who is now many miles away and in the arms of another man. Callandor finds no beauty around him and instead strives to bring more hate into the world than love.
Bitterness: Callandor is very bitter about everything and snaps at anyone who comes too close to him. He has learned what becomes of letting anyone into his life and uses him bitterness to keep anyone unwanted away.
