Location: Downtown & Business District

Summary: Cruward, having spent time in Keltaris, bought valuable information from one of the Shadows, and that has led him here to Marn. His purpose in the city is to exact revenge on those responsible for the death of his kin, by whatever means.

The sigil on the ring he has in his possession has been seen in the downtown quarter, but that is the extent of Cruward's knowledge concerning the murderers he seeks. This poses a problem for Cruward, since he needs more information on how to locate the antagonists, but if he reveals too much he may become a target himself and will lose the element of surprise... So who can he trust? The faction in question has undoubtedly noticed some of their number have appeared dead in other cities, but they are unaware who it is that harbors a murderous vendetta against them. That perhaps could change.

Other Notes: Join Cruward in "The Dogs" to reveal some of his elusive past, as well as configure the story as to whether he exacts the vengeance he strives for, or he is discovered and must become more precise, and most likely make many more sacrifices to achieve the justice he has been seeking in his life.

Hey Cruward, I've noticed you haven't yet snagged anyone for your thread. I'd encourage you to not give up -- sometimes it can take some time to get a thread up and running. In the meantime, a proactive thing to do would be to check this thread here: http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1497 and find characters who you might think will fit with your thread. Send those players a pm. A lot of time new players (or even sometimes old players) will create the character and then let it sit for a while, sort of waiting for a thread to fall into their lap -- without actively looking for one on the board. They want to play, but they're just not interested in starting a thread of their own.

So, I wish you luck and don't be discouraged! It took quite a while to get my first character into an active thread, but now I am quite happily involved in several threads with several characters.

(I'd say go for Cal as I've been wanting to see that guy in a thread forever. >> )

Hmmm. If Cruward were looking for an alchemical edge, whether it be poisons or curative measures bought as insurance, it'd be an excuse to bring him into Vaspar Herbalism, and enlisting the aid of a bored faery and her troll partner would definitely be an edge.
