// I took some small liberties with the plot of the site to include my character in them somewhat more deeply than one might do so originally, if this is not okay just let me know and I can come up with something else, I just wanted to try and get her pushed into the plot a little bit more deeply so I would have a jumping off point for her. As I go along and get used to her character I may flesh this out a little bit more but this is a pretty solid basis for both what she is going to be like and for her abilities. I don't feel I know enough about the site really to fill out a stronger history on her but I will likely, as I said, fill it out a bit more once I get more involved in the game (I have read the needed stuff of course, but experience makes for a better education tool with these things especially). I will not change anything major or do anything drastic though, I promise, and if you desire I can even send out a notification when I do edit it. This may have some small errors in spelling and grammar in it, for that I apologize I wrote this in a program that did not have any sort of spell check and went over it later. I tend to miss things if I can not immediately correct them. Happy reading. :] //

NAME: Justice Ravenot
GENDER: Female
AGE: 26

APPEARANCE: It is not likely that Justice's appearance would draw the eye frequently or even arouse much comment, she is not a remarkably beautiful or ugly woman. Instead she falls somewhere in the middle ground with a mouth that is slightly wider and more generous than is pretty and high delicate cheekbones that afford her an almost fey-feline appearance. Above her too high cheekbones a pair of deep, dark brown eyes sit, they are not doe-like or wide and round as is typically preferred in brown eyes but are rather average. A widow's peak, sometimes known also as a devil's peak, falls into her forehead and she possess a firm jaw line that gives her face a serious cast, full of earnestness, sincerity, and stubbornness. Her form is fit and trim without excess flesh but she is slender and supple rather than being muscular. While her shape is that which is undeniably of that of a female she is not luxuriously voluptuous but instead that of a typical small framed female, modestly shaped and rounded. Justice has thick dark hair that is just barely lighter than the color of fresh brewed espresso, it is sleek and so heavy that it is kept straight by it's own weight and does not get wavy nor curly. She keeps it just long enough to be pulled back into a tail so that it might not fall in her face when she does physical work.

PERSONALITY: Often Justice is without caution, instead she is bold in personality and opinion. Though she is frequently slow to judge she does not hesitate to voice her thoughts and stick to her opinion, within her lies a steel will that is unyielding as stone. This trait often lends her strength and the ruthlessness to stick unswervingly to her chosen path, it makes her courageous and ruthless, she is often without mercy, hesitation, or even tact once her mind has been made up about a subject. Her will also often makes her pig headed and bone headed, stubborn without end she frequently gets herself into trouble when she is not willing to yield or release that which she believes to be correct.

STRENGTHS: Some formal weapons training does belong to Justice, she is skilled with a staff and somewhat apt with a dagger or a knife in close quarters. Some very few hand to hand combat skills are hers, though they are the ones that involve pressure points and soft spots. Speed, stealth, and strategy are her allies in physical confrontations. Though she is not always clever determination always belongs to her and through sheer force of will she often accomplishes what others are not able to simply because she is so dogged and ruthless. The ability to read and understand emotions, situations, and motives in an effort to uncover the truth and judge it accurately frequently put her ahead of the game when it comes to dealing with people in sticky situations as well.

WEAKNESSES: Heavy weaponry, including swords, are beyond her ability - such things are simply too big and difficult for her smaller frame and leaner muscled body to wield effectively. The same is also true for a bow, she does not have the strength in her arms and chest to draw one back well enough to use it. Effective armor, most especially metal plating and chain mail, is far too heavy for her to handle as she does not have the muscle to carry about such bulk without exhausting herself, these things merely eliminate what physical abilities they do have. Justice is completely without magic ability, she has never attempted to gain such an ability or to study it and see if she is apt. Beyond that, she can also be seen as something of an extremist when it comes to the truth and fairness, her unbending stances make her enemies and spin her in to trouble when she is unwilling to shut her mouth in front of the right people. The ruthlessness she applies with such determination to being just and fair is also seen, sometimes, as heartlessness and it turns her fellows away from her - those who are good because she seems to be without compassion and those who are evil because she is prone to judging them.

NOTEWORTHY ITEMS: The most important item that Justice carries with her is a long staff that stands nearly her full height, both ends of which are tipped in a mixed gold colored metal that is hard and protects the ends of the staff from wear and damage. The top end of the staff has the rounded shape of a globe about the size of an orange, the metal there is thick and makes it somewhat heavy. This weight lends it momentum when it is swung. The other end is not quite flat and even but is not pointed enough to be considered blade like. Instead it is almost like a dull pick, used to help grip the ground or even to serve a nasty poke painful, though it might not break the skin, to an enemy. The metal on the bottom end of the staff comes about three quarters of the way up it's length but the top metal only covers a small portion. The wood of the staff itself is a hard wood that is a deep dark color with a red glint to it. The wood itself has no decorative carvings or fancywork but is instead simply worn in slightly from being carried for so many years by Justice herself. It fits her hand well and she takes it with her everywhere, it is her primary weapon and is obviously well cared for as the wood and metal shines from frequently being cleaned and polished.

On her belt Justice wears two knives, one is the typical belt knife that most carry with them - used for daily tasks rather than fighting, it is a plain and simple blade with a wooden handle and shows the wear and use of years. The other is a slightly longer blade that is used for combat, it is not a throwing knife and can only be used at close range but it is wickedly sharp edged. Beyond that it is unremarkable and simple as the other, wooden handled but obviously well cared for, free of rust or unclean markings. It is obvious that it is not a frequently used thing but it is still there in the case that it is ever needed.

The only other item that Justice is almost never without is a piece of crystal with a hole cut through one end of it that dangles from a long piece of leather which is just long enough to leave it dangling just between her breasts. It is a long somewhat cylindrically shaped piece that tapers off on the end in a dull point, it is no longer than an average man's middle finger, though it is about three times as thick, and when put to light it casts out rainbow colored light. Although Justice wears it around her neck as if it were a piece of jewelry it is certainly not any sort of precious gem and is not viewed as particularly desirable. Occasionally she has been questioned on it's use with the suspicion that it might, somehow, be used for a magical act as it does not seem to have any real value but she scoffs that it is, simply, a pretty bauble that she wears because she likes it. She is unadorned with any other jewelry of any kind.

HISTORY: Born to parents that grew up and lived in Thar Shaddin their entire lives themselves they hoped that their daughter might rise to the ranks of a city official or a public servant of some sort. Instilled with the fanatic worship of both government and religion that most of the citizens of Thar Shaddin posses they named their daughter as they did wanting to mold her into what would be good material for a servant of the city that they and their ancestors had lived in for so long. While they were not part of the original founding group of Thar Shaddin nor even those which closely followed them their relatives have been living in the city for centuries and they believe that they, too, should be able to rise from the poverty in which they long lived to something greater and better off than they had been before.

Partially, they got their wish. They raised a daughter that was both righteous and moralistic, Justice she became both in name and in spirit. Though her family is not deeply poor they are not remarkably wealthy either, instead they live in an outlying farm and live off of what they can produce and sell, livestock is primarily what they raise - mostly sheep and goats which thrive better in the harsher climate than other types of livestock do. With their money they fought to educate Justice both in weapons and also in general knowledge and schooling. Despite all this she has defied them and has not become a part of the government in any way. This may be due to her outspoken nature and her complete lack of desire to rise to power for her own means. It is possible that her lack of desire to participate in the actual scheming and politics involved in becoming a part of the government class has crippled her parents ambitions for her.

This did not become evident to them until Justice reached her twenty fifth year, until this point she had lived at home with her mother and father helping them on their farm to raise livestock and work their farmstead and while she became mildly involved and was interested in Government she never held any position of importance or real power. When it became obvious to her parents that their daughter was what they considered to be wayward and defiant of all that they had given her to help her grow and do better for herself they forced her from their house both in anger and the hope that left to her own devices and forced to do something other than help them farm that she might suddenly turn her attention fully toward their goals for her and succeed.

She did not do so. Instead she moved to another farmstead to earn her keep, but soon discovered that living is not the same as having a life. Seeking to find something new she moved to town and was, because of her nature, sucked into the vortex of rigid government and politics. To her parent's shame and horror she soon found that she did not agree with all the government does and has since gotten herself labeled as something of a trouble maker though she is not yet marked as a rebel or a traitor and can not be charged or put to death for magic use because she does not practice it or other radical actions because she has yet to make a large move against those that could truly be considered a threat. Despite this, those who are in power have begun to take minor note of her and her family has turned from her, having no desire to be associated with her new reputation.
Most of her speaking out did not have to do directly with any corruption or even greed within the leading peoples of the government but rather they were small and petty issues, only a small part of a much larger whole. Despite this, those who are in power have begun to take minor note of her and her family has turned from her, having no desire to be associated with her new reputation.

At current she is working at a small no-name tavern in a rougher part of the city as a barmaid, unlike several of the girls that work there she does not do any work on the side and remains as illustrious and virtuous as she has always been, though it is true that she spends much of her time attempting to sort out the stupid brawls of drunkards and other hapless tavern clientele. Her attitude, lack of willingness to share her body, and moderate looks have not made her a favorite and as with past jobs which are similar to the one she works now she is not doing particularly well. Better to preach to sheep than to men, she has discovered, but she is both unable and unwilling to return to her previous life. At current she is still employed but is sitting on her employer's last raw nerve.
