by Ulevohn Ye'anor
Name: Ulevohn'erresterin Ye'anor
-Named after his grandfather, Ulevohn'alleniher Ye'anor.

Age: 123

Race: Halfelf
-Ulevohn's father was an elf, his mother was a human.

Height: approx. 6 feet tall

Weight: 135 pounds

Physical Description: Ulevohn is a charming man who, in lack of his bad hygience and clothing, has a face that has won over many women's hearts. He has a long nose that curves slightly up but otherwise his eyes are a bright green and his lips slightly red. His face is symetrical, with sharp features and soft expressions (when they need to be). He pulls his long blonde haire back into a ponytail which falls to his mid back. His clothing ussually consists of higher class clothing, such as silk with silver trim, and fine cotton, but these clothes are generally ripped, wrinkled, and dirty. He walks with a bounce in his step, and his every motion blends smoothly with the next. He currently carries a thin dagger, about five inches, engraved with magical runes (through his own business) to make any cut inflicted, have the scabbing process slow to double or even triple the usual time length. He is thin for his height and has little muscles, for little does he rely on shear strength.

Possessions:
-Small dagger, which Ulevohn refers to when he says (quote, threat) "I'll make my stinger linger."
-Yew Boy and arrows.
-Black cowl and cloak (besides his other clothing)
-320 Bisani
-Many lockpicks

Powers and Strengths: Ulevohn, altought his first choice would be his dagger, is an exceptionally good shot with a bow, though he rarely uses for he thinks it is uncomfortable and arrows are very expensive (at least the ones he chooses). Ulevohn is very charming and manipulative, additionally to this he can also tell a good lie and make his expressions very menacing. Ulevohn has a near silent step, and can be very sneaky.

Weaknesses: Some of Ulevohn's weakness would be that he is a coward, despite his attitude toward enemies, he is weak and it not good at fighting without weapons, although he has an entire business built around dealing illegal goods, he fears and respects the guards and battlemages to extremes and will never try to run or fight them or do anything bad directly to them.

History:
Bastard son of Nethun'erradiress Ye'anor and Shelia Mathrodr, the dispute between the Mathrodr family and Ye'anor family was great, both families outraged at the two races intertwining. The result was the couples split a couple days after having Ulevohn. Ulevohn was then left with his dad, for the human family Mathrodr thought of it a disgrace to have an elf in the family. Ulevohn grew as a single son, with no siblings. Nethun Ye'anor, as strange as it is for an elf, owned one of the largest businesses in Marn, with a factory in the industrial district and a shop in downtown, mainstreet. Since Nethun owned such a large, successful business (with little spare time), Ulevohn was left with the household caretaker, who happened to be an elf woman, who went by the name of Rethedren'allenyn Euleden. Ulevohn had a great relationship with her, and while not having bonded with his father (who he rarely saw and spoke to), looked up to Rethedren as a mother. Although Nethun was anti-magic and was a seemingly worshiper of the government, so Ulevohn followed suit.
As Ulevohn grew, he stuck with his family and lived and moved out at the age of 20 to go live by himself. Not long after, he received news that his father, Rethedren, and other family members and his father's employees he had known, had gotten killed in an explosion at the factory. Being Nethun's only son, Ulevohn inherited it all, and along with his depression, grew extremely wealthy with the booming business his father had owned. After some years owning the company and getting passed his depression, Ulevohn had met another elf woman, Ethenlu'felluryn Thielenyea whom he loved with all his heart. Together, they had a male child, who they named Nethun'tellarun after Ulevohn's father. Following the birth, the child had got greatly sick, so they took the child to the infirmary, where they learned it had a bad fever, which should've healed up in a couple weeks. With short lived relief, the couple also received news that the child had extreme magic potential, and should he grew older would pose a threat to the city. The child was taken from the point, and left Ulevohn and Ethenlu childless, never to know what happened to him. Following that, Marn hit a great recession due to trade shortage. The business plummeted and went into debt, throwing it out of business. Ulevohn and Ethenlu, unable to afford the house and amenities, went homeless, and fell again into a great depression.
They headed to the Historic District to try their luck. Totally against their beliefs, the couple began a Shanty business, having average weapons enchanted using illegal magic, and then selling the newly enchanted weapons. During a bad trade, a fight broke out and Ethenlu was killed, so in return Ulevohn killed the troll that had killed her. Ulevohn was captured by two battlemages and taken to Justice Court, where he was locked in jail for twenty years, despite the fact he defended his wife. During these years he developed a deep hatred for trolls and an even more respectul view of the powerful guard. When he got out of Justice hall, Ulevohn headed back to the Historical District and reluctantly (and with suicide lingering in his thoughts), picked up his past trade again, selling enchanted weapons.
After some years continuing the trade, he was greeted by an orc customer, Dak'Grum, who told him of the thug guild he was in and invited Ulevohn to join it. Ulevohn accepted and has clawed his way to a respectable position in the gang. Ulevohn still presently hosts the business, where he makes a good amount of money. His now two most trusted friends, Dak'Grum, and Yeano Allenyry hold honorable positions in the guild. Ulevohn still has a deep hatred for trolls as well, and rejects and brutally beats any troll trying to join the gang.

I'd like you to clear up a few things in this app.

First of all, I see that he has poor hygiene and wears rags for clothing yet he still manages to get lots of women. How does he do that?

Then, he was able to take down a troll all by himself? Even though he's this scrawny little guy? At which point he was arrested for killing the troll and placed within Justice Hall?

Trolls are super hard to kill, one man taking down a troll by himself is a really hard thing to accomplish. Then if he did kill a troll, unless he used magic to do it, he would be locked up in the prison below the Guard HQ as the Justice Hall is reserved for magic users. I also want to point out that it's really rare that trolls enter the city of Marn.

For the hygiene question, I wrote in his description that his clothes are higher class clothing with mildly bad (sometimes very bad) quality, not rags. Example: Blue silk with silver buttons, although the silk is dirty and there is a tear in the sleeve.
Also in the description I explained how he has a handsome appearing face. Addition to this (see Powers and Strengths) I explained how he can be very manipulative and charming, so in a given scenario can either trick or guilt a woman into liking him, or win her over with his personality (note that as the personality appears good, it may not be his true emotions or personality).
One more addition is (unincluded in the history (would you want me to add this?)) that the only time did he ever have an interest or put forth an effort to woo women was after the death of his wife, Ethenlu. The women that he did then put an effort to woo were the women of Shanty Town, in the Historical District, which I infer, aren't the highest quality of women if you know what I mean

Sorry about the Troll ordeal, I thought they were a playable race, as in World of Warcraft, but it seems like this troll "type" is leaning more to a Lord of the Rings "type"? Just trying to get an idea with the comparisons... but you mentioned that trolls RARELY enter Marn, maybe could I use this rare encounter but I would change the story that won't throw off his history too much.

One last thing, could I shorten his history for reading and interest sakes, retaining all the details but simply cutting the somewhat 'useless' knowledge off for only you and other approvers to know about? What I mean is that his history won't change but I read the history and get a little bored, I think shortening the amount of what I have down will make it more enjoyable, in a way sumarize it.

Thanks for you time Niabi, just say if anything else needs to be changed, any way to make my character fit in the environment better and I'll happily oblige.

Just a quick comment to clear up confusions in the Troll ordeal, the troll will not be killed, but Ulevohn with attempt to and fail, being smashed in the head. From which point the guard would interfere with the situation (stopping from either the troll or Ulevohn from being killed). When Ulevohn would be hit, he would be thrown into a coma with lasted some 20 years, and when "revived" "awoken" (not sure on word choice) from coma will have to take some time to relearn to walk, run, and function normally. (From which point he returns to Shanty Town, and regains and builds upon the skills he lost when in coma).

Hopefully my last recall on a mistake!
After the coma ordeal, of course Ulevohn will suffer permanent damage, which I will add to his weaknesses after you approve of some of the ideas I have posted. (not saying you will  )

As far as the troll goes, yes they are a playable race. Unfortunately though, not many people play them as more people seem to prefer playing these smart, attractive, possibly magical humans over a 8-10 foot tall lumbering giant who isn't so bright nor has the slightest hint of magical ability.

With shortening the history, I don't think the information about the character's grandfather or father really needs to be there unless you think there is something relevant to the information that needs to be there. Oh the other hand, I would like to see the information in the history about Ulevohn expanded on. He's 123 years old yet there isn't all that information about what he has done in his long life. Even if he had been in a coma for 20 years, that's still 103 years that he was up, awake and doing things. Has he traveled? Has he learned various skills? Has he gotten in fights? Does he have any old injuries? You said that his wife died, did they have any children? You mentioned him being with other women after her, is he still with any of them? I just think there needs to be more as he has lived so long and yet there isn't much said of his life.

Okay, I will write up the history and reply again once it is complete. But, about the children, the only child Ulevohn Ye'anor has had (or that he knows of) is the one mentioned in the history, Nethun'tellarun, who he had with Ethenlu'felluryn.
