Race: Fallen Angel (Just as it sounds: a human who has died and was dropped from the heavens back to Pal Tahrenor)

Physical Description: Scarlet is a fair-skinned angel, with auburn shoulder-length straight hair and piercing dark green eyes. Around her neck is a curious silver ring, engraved around the outside with intricate lines and a language she cannot read. The ring is attached to a necklace, and she keeps it tucked beneath her dress. Protruding from her shoulder blades are a set of black leathery wings, though they are usually hidden by a crimson shaded cloak that she picked up on a corpse near where she woke up. Besides her new cloak, Scarlet has not found any clothing to allow her to blend in more comfortably with this world. She wanders shoeless and in a dirty, sand-stained long white dress.
Possessions: A silver ring around a chain on her neck, and her new crimson cloak.
Powers or Strengths: Flight (comes with the wings) and soul-sucking. Soul-sucking is how Fallen Angels "eat", they simply place their mouth over another being's and suck their soul right out. This does not kill, only removes the will to live. It does not have to be done constantly- only about once a month. Scarlet does not know yet, but her ring can sate her hunger. Physical combat may injure and her healing time is slow, but Scarlet cannot die, to remove her from being she must be banished. To banish a Fallen Angel, her corpse must be purified and burned and her trinket must also be destroyed.
Weaknesses: Scarlet is very vulnerable, she is clumsy and not good with weapons. She knows no magic and talks a lot when she is nervous. Largely independent, trust is a difficult thing to gain with her. Also, she wears her trinket around her neck and her body has already decomposed in the ground. All it would take is for someone to destroy her trinket and she would be banished.
History: Before she died as a mortal, Scarlet Alea was human. She lived in the residential area of Marn with her family, where she was largely seen as a disgrace more than anything else because she could not properly wield a weapon, got injured too easily and cried far too often. In her early teenage years, Scarlet fell in love with a man who did not mind her non-military flaws, a few years later they were engaged to be married. To her dismay and shock, the man was arrested and executed for using an extensive amount of magic. On the day they were to be wed, Scarlet wore her engagement ring on a chain around her neck and took a stress-filled walk along the Ofriyu Mar, where the waters swept up and claimed her. No Fallen Angel has remembrance of an after life, and only faint recollection of their life as a mortal. Scarlet woke up somewhere in the Sooqui Plane, near the outskirts of Shim, next to a fully decomposed corpse. She took the cloak off the corpse to hide her wings and she began walking. Scarlet has no recollection of her mortal life, or even her last name. She does not recall a heaven or a hell. She does not even know where she is, she is simply here.
