Age: 20

Race: Human

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 170lbs

Physical Description:
She has an exotic, amazon type build which is often recognized as 'intimidating'; This has proved useful to her since joining the City Guard, however. Her hair is dark, straight and shoulder length with strands falling at random lengths about her face. Trae's skin is naturally pale, which seems to highlight the seemingly unnatural brightness of her green eyes. Those who admire her will probably mention her lips; full, inticing and rosey.

Possessions:
-Guard Armour. Trae chooses to only wear a breast plate, guantlants and leg guards so that she may increase her mobility.

-Nye Brom the Great Axe (name meaning "Golden Raven"). The one item in which she is recognized for, the Nye Brom has been in her family as long as they have exsisted. Only a few of the Wynford's have actually been able to wield it, Trae being the only one alive today.

-Seiriol (name meaning "The Bright One"). Her pet blackbird. Most locals rumor the bird to be a bad omen, but Trae just thinks they're jealous.

-Trae also owns a house in the residential district, which she inherited from her family. It is about a 5 minute brisk walk from the park.

Powers or Strengths:
-Axe Wielder. Trae posses great skill in battling with her axe, and proves to be a powerful ally for the City Guard.

-Magic. As much as she is against the use of magic, she also has some flowing through her veins... quite literally. It is thanks to her magical blood that she is actually able to swing her mighty axe. This ability has been kept as a dark secret in the Wynford family for years, and might just have played a role in the Nye Brom's forging. She is not registered and has never told a soul.

-Synevive Descendant. This is more of a benefit then a strength. She is respected in coming from a family as ancient as the Wynfords.

-Couragous. Trae is lionhearted and trustworthy, making her a very reliable and indisposable ally.

Weaknesses and Flaws:
-Deadly secret. If anyone were to discover her magic capabilities, she would surely lose more than her position in the Guard.

-Magic. Her magic only works when she is actually holding the axe. Otherwise, it is useless.

-Ill-Informed and One-Sided. Trae supports the Guard, the government, and the decision to outlaw the use of magic. But at the same time, it is all she was ever told was right. She knows very little of those who suffer under the harsh laws and extreme ways of the Guard.

History:
Traherne was given her name when the Nye Brom gave off a faint glow shortly after her birth; This light was a sign that she would be able to use this family treasure, as her grandfather did before her. Her childhood was innocent and simple, and growing up with a secret magic ability had no effect in her life. Thanks to the nature of her abilities, no one had any way of knowing she was harboring super strength. Her father would tell her stories about how her greatest relatives learned how to control their magic, and seal it in the Nye Brom. This, according to her father, was the only way to properly use magic, and anyone else was unworthy of possesing magic. Being able to use magic whenever one wishes, he would say, was evil and wrong.

When she was 15, she witnessed something that would change her life. A battle had broken out in the residential district, two blocks from her very home; a magic user, distruaght over something, was summoning great fists of stone to destroy a home. Mesmerized by such a display of emotionally charged magic, Trae didn't see the backlash of the mighty rock hand coming. In an instant, the young girl was sent through a fence, which shattered on impact. Through blurred vision, a man on a great horse came to her aid with a troop of armoured men. The City Guard.

It would later be said it was a miracle that Traherne survived without a single broken bone.

"She's a tough young lady." someone mentioned downstairs.

She listened as she lay in bed that night, the voices of her father and mother carried through the floorboards.

"Well, we're thankful to have the City Guard to protect us. Thank you for bringing her home, Camulous."

It was only a year later that she arrived at The Headquarters doorstep, her mighty axe strapped to her back. Her display of might and skill with such a horrifying weapon was impossible to forget, and she was quickly enlisted.

The next three years were mostly spent in training, though it was common to send her out if mobs were a problem. One swing of the Nye Brom was enough to settle the majority. Now well rounded and well known, she is awaiting advancement, and secretly aims to impress the man who once saved her life and inspired her to join the Guard.
