Czeyla [open for use!]

Czeyla is a robust, squat lady in her mid-forties. She has thick, matted black hair, a clean, pale face, husky shoulders and arms, and a smile fit to burst. She uses an overabundance of hand gestures when she speaks and she is quick to welcome and coo over any visitor to her home.
Her home and place of work is on the eastern side of Marn, across from the theatre. From the street, it appears to be simply a humble place of residence, square and unassuming, built of simple block stone, with shuttered windows and locked door. But if one follows a little dirt path through an overgrown garden around the back, after the sun has set, one will find a little orange lantern swinging gently on a hooked post, marking a stairway leading down to the house's basement. At the bottom of the stairs is a large oaken door with a circular stained-glass porthole and a pewter knocker.
One will be greeted by one of Czeyla's girls, and ushered into the main room. The mid-sized room is lit by a multitude of candles, apparently scented, and the walls and decor are of a gentle burnt-orange motif, varying up to pale yellow in the tapestries and lighting, and down to soft wooden textures in the furniture. There is a full bar, and an inviting array of couches, throw pillows, and loveseats. Rooms off to the side are cordoned off by velvet sheets hanging from ropes across the tops of the thresholds. One is the kitchen, in which exotic delights to suit the fancy of the rich and the eccentric are created: Everything from roast pheasant marinated in Zhaltevi coffee syrup and Darleone spices, to liqueur-steamed, caramelized dragonflies with white chocolate sauce and chili bruschetta. The other rooms are massage rooms.
However, Czeyla holds a secret more compromising and exciting than her exclusive little establishment. Czeyla was born with psychometric abilities, as was her mother before her, and every firstborn woman in her family's line. The particulars of her gift are as follows: She can touch any object and enter a trance, and the object will reveal images and emotions to her, in a linear fashion, going back in time. Wherever that object has been, who has touched it, and what it has been involved with, all the way back to its creation. Moments in the object's history that are marked by great emotional distress or upheaval will be clearer to Czeyla. As the trance continues, it is harder to focus and hold, therefore moments further back in time will be less clear, until eventually she cannot see any more. This ability can extend to living beings, but they must be open to it. If their mind or their heart fights the process, it is of no use.
Czeyla employs a total of eight women and three men. Two of the men are masseurs, and one is the master chef. Under him are two female cooks. Then there is the bartender, the maid, and four masseuses.
