Hair: Raven Black, brittle, and shoulder length. Covers the right side of his face.
Build: Toned, but also very lean. Can see ribs clearly.
Normal Clothes: Clothes almost exactly like the religious robes of a Taoist, but all gray and no Hat or Tai-chi symbol. When he is dealing death and despair he wears a Helmet/Mask that is a modified human skull (Modified to fit over his own head). While he wears the Helmet/Mask he also paints around his eyes with charcol.

Possessions:
Weapon: Sickle
Armor: A chain shirt underneath his robes
Other:
Amulet: An amulet that makes most people ignore him. It doesn't work on people who are looking for him or people he comes in contact with. A wallflower kind of affect.
Lyconamakon: An Acient spellbook that Adamas had to sacrifice his hand for. Currently undeciphered.
A sewing kit
Scapel with four replacement blades
Emily's ashes in a clay Jar

Powers or Strengths:

Sickle Weapon: Can use a sickle better than most solidiers can use a sword. Has some basic knowledge of other weapons, just enough to know what not to do.

Sewing: Can sew together a cut and the hole in your pants

Medicall Knowledge: Adamas has a surgon's knowledge and skill over the body. Can do life saving surgery or kill a person quickly by exploiting weak points.

Negative Energy: This is the divine magic power given to him by his God (see history). Negative and Positive energy exist everywhere there is emotions. Not necessary good and evil, but negative thoughts and feelings creates negative energy. Adamas has been given the power not only control, but mass produce negative energy.
Aura: Dread Aura; Those near Adamas feel the bone chilling presence of Death and they react based on their own deep fealings of their own death. This effect has a 10ft centered on Adamas. It has a 30ft radius in terms with animals(which normally flee) or nature sensitive people.

Close range: Negative energy is concentrated into Adamas hands or weapon (Adamas is uninfected by it). When it comes in contact with living things it kills the surrounding cells. Ex: 1st degree burns it the skin is touch or Internal bleeding if sythe strikes near a major blood vessel. Also the infusion of Negative energy brings the effected darkest thoughts/feelings to the surface of their mind Creating more negative energy.

Range: 300yds, those struck with this negative energy has their darkest thoughts/feelings to the surface of their mind creating more negative energy.

Create Undead: From dead bodies Adamas can create the following Undead(currently can only control a max of 21 undead);

Skeletons: Very agile but mindless undead that can use weapons and wear armour. Resistant to slashing and piercing attacks. Immune to cold.

Zombie: Tough mindless undead. Torso must be destroyed to defeat. Poor reflexes and responses. Resistant to bludgeoning and piercing attacks.

Ghost: Incorprol undead with intelligence. Can't touch anything and can only be harmed by magic/positive energy. Can phase through solid objects and are a major collector of negative energy.

Empower Undead: Adamas has the following abilities to strengthen undead (can only stregthen 1/3 of the Undead he controls)

Zoom: Increases undead speed and reflexes by 60%.

Weaknesses:

Personality: Adamas has no value in life. Even worse if a person seems more useful dead than alive, he would kill them turn them into an undead creature just out of convience. Despite for his quest for immortality and to gather magical items, Adamas is very indifferent about most things. This leads to a lack of self motivation and the ability to attract strange people.

Technology: Anything that is more advance than simple tools is beyond understanding. Normally hits things to make them work.

Negative Energy: No animal will willingly come near him and his presence gives people an icy chill in their bones. Also it can be weakened or blocked by positive energy. The best way to defend against Adamas Negative Energy is to focus on something positive (like the memory of your first kiss, etc). Likewise an extremely positive person could be almost immune to Negative energy. Though multiple attacks of negative energy can increase the diffuculty of this. Also It can't harm inorganic objects.

History:
Adamas was the third son and fifth child of Jose and Nami Zelfor. Jose was a retired solidier who returned to his home village to start a family. When Adamas was born Jose saw him as a sickly child and kept him inside to help Nami. Here Adamas learned to sew, cook, and to read better than his siblings. Though small at birth, Adamas grew rather quickly in the terms of height, but always remain scarecrow thin. He didn't have any friends because of his appearance until the age of ten when:

"Gotta get these eggs to the market," Adamas reminded himself as he cradled the basket of eggs. He made sure to remind himself constantly or he'll forget what he was doing. Adamas didn't want another beating for staring at the clouds for hours.

"Eggs for milk, gotta get them to the market. Make mamma smile. Eggs for milk. Gotta get..."

Adamas stopped his chant when he thought he heard a scream. Off to the side of the road was a girl a little bit younger than she was being chased by couple of boys. They were throwing rocks and shouting insults like monster. No one should treat a girl like that, Adamas thought, but he had to go to the market and sell the eggs to get enough money to buy milk. She was in trouble and he had to...do what again?

The girl's dress caught on a thorny bush and she fell face first into the grass. The boys caught up and one held her down so she wouldn't escape. "We got you now ugly, why don't you show us whats underneath your dress." The girl screamed in protest while the others cheered. Well they cheered until a dark shadow was cast over them.

"Leave her alone!" Adamas growled, trying his best to be menacing.

"What are going to do if we don't scarecrow?" said the largest one. Adamas recognized him as one of the Mayor's fat sons.

"I-I'll..."

"Do nothing you stupid basturd. Your head is just filled with hay. Now move along and let us have our fun Scarecrow. Is that okay wi..."

Adamas silenced the boy with a punch in the nose. It was true that he spent a lot of time inside, but his brothers weren't as accepting as his parent's with his so called frailness.

"Ny Mose!" The fat child cried as he thrashed around on the ground. With their leader desposed of so easily the group dispersed like a flock of frighten birds.

As soon as they were out of sight Adamas went to see if the girl was alright. She was still lying in the same spot where she fell, sobbing. "Are you okay?" Adamas asked as he reached to help her up.

"Go away!" she screamed as she swatted his hand aside.

"Why?"

"Because I'm an ugly little devil!"

"Says who?"

"Everybody?"

"Why?"

"This is why!" She screamed as she showed Adamas her scarred face. He knew her name instantly, Emily Foster. She had lost her family in a fire a couple years back.

Emily also recognized him too, the sickly boy who was known as scarecrow. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. Thank you for saving me."

"It is okay I just have one question?"

"Whats that?"

"Do you know what I was doing?"

The news of Adamas' fight spread quickly to Jose who decided that he was no longer staying inside. That he could work outside with the rest of the men. Adamas didn't mine that much for the fight had won him the friendship of Emily and put him into better standing with his father. Life was good for the next few years and uneventful until Adamas was about thirteen and he discovered his gift. It happened while he and his bothers were working. His oldest brother Marvin fell through some old floor boards in the barn and got impaled by one of the boards. While everyone ran to get a doctor, Adamas stayed with Marvin to keep him awake. Adamas watch his brother die slowly that day, because he lacked the skills needed to help him.

Time went by with Adamas studying to be a surgeon and getting closer to Emily. At sixteen Adamas and Emily got engaged. It was the height of his life, everything was going right for once in his life. Of course fate is a cruel mistress. They found Emily in the river with her neck broken. It was the third murder of the one resposible and he killed two more before he was caught and hanged.

A few days after her death Adamas disapeared with Emily's ashes. No one knew what happened during the following three months for the next person to see Adamas was Emily:

It felt like awaking from a dream to Emily, the type of dream where you can only remember the feelings you felt not the content. When she open her eyes she was floating above the only man she ever loved, who was staring off into space while caressing a clay jar.

Adamas turned to her, "So my God has answered my prayer, not exactly the way I wished but it will do for now. In return I must work for him."

"What are you talking about?"

Adamas replied by passing his hand through her body, "You're only a spirit my love, but I will learn the secret to beat my god by serving him and when I do we'll be together forever."

"What is the name of your, our God we serve?"

"He has many names, but the most common is Death."

The power of Death greatly changed Adamas as he train himself to use his powers more effectively. He followed every possible lead in his search for immortality. He joined many organizations and befriended horrible people only to betray or destroy them when their results prove fruitless. On one of these excursions, he needed a place to hide and found a room was availibe to rent. The room was in the house of gnome known as Wal Nevin. Adamas used this room as a hideout many times and became friends with Wal.

His last mission was to recover the Lyconamakon. He took a small army of the undead to occupany him to set off the traps and fight the creatures of the ruin that held it. By the time he got to the final door, Adamas' army was vanquished. The key to open the final door required to switches to be turned by those with magical power at the same time were twelve feet away. Adamas thought for away and then decided to cut off his hand. He sealed the wound and animated his hand (with negative energy). After the door was opened, Adamas tried to reattatch his hand, but his flesh mold ability wouldn't work. His power had pernamently killed his hand. He had to move quickly, Admas snatched the Lyconamakon and moved as fast as he could to Wal's current residence in Marn.

Adamas fainted from blood loss on Wal's floor and Wal did his best to heal him. Wal hired many healers who able to make Adamas recover, but like him were unable to restore his hand. So Wal went to work on making Adamas a new hand. It took him a week, even with his Gnome experience, and Wal had turned a guantlet into a workable hand. Attatchment was easy with Adamas' flesh mold ability.

Adamas found a pernament use for Wal and decided to stay with him. Officially, he is Wal's doctor, but he is Wal hitman is also after the magic items that the government has. Adamas is gathering as much information and people to help him with this plan, but it is only the beginning.

Scythe Weapon: Can use a scythe better than most solidiers can use a sword. Has some basic knowledge of other weapons, just enough to know what not to do.
Before going any futher, I have a problem with this part.

A scythe isn't a weapon. They're about 6 feet long, weigh a ton, and are good at slow sweeping motions, but very impractical in combat. Sure you could kill someone with one if he stood there and let you stick the sharp end in his side, but I can't see it being better than a sword.

I'm not saying he can't carry one around if it has some spiritual or religious significance, or if he just thinks it looks cool, but it's no weapon for a serious fighter.

They can't be heavier than a large mace, but how about special Scythe? Like one made for combat instead? It would be like quarterstaff with a blade attatch pretty much. If not what about a sickle? Any more suggestions would be nice while I'm still working on him is appreciated.

Oh yes they can. A mace is between a foot and two long. A scythe is 4 to 6 feet long, usually longer. If a mace is like a shorter baseball bat, a scythe is like a sledgehammer. The big ones weigh about the same as a sledgehammer too. That's not something you can swing around easily. Using a scythe to cut grass is a slow, steady motion.

In times of war peasants would take the blades off their scythes and attach them to a pole pointing straight, like a polrarm or spear, so that you can stab people with it. It's not something you swing around the same way you swing a sword though. Mostly you just point that at people and hope they don't get close. I don't think there's any way you can attach a two foot blade to a four foot staff and have it be anything but either a polearm, or a farming tool.

A sickle is a far better weapon. Either a sickle or a kama http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kama_(weapon) which is a mini-scythe.

How do you envision Adamas in the setting?

Major villian, one that doesn't care that he is being used nor has any respect for any life but his own. An reoccuring antagonist for all to enjoy especially since his goals kind of effect everybody: To become immortal and to gather magic items to him alive till then. He trys to gather those who are useful to him and dispose of those who refuse/are useless to him (More useful as undead creatures). Though not the leader of group, he still a person to reckon with.

There was asking for villians and everyone knows that the villian makes the hero. I'm one of the best at playing the bad guy and I won't hold back at making him as horrific as possible or your guys into the best they can be.

All fun for me

We do have a major character with the flesh molding ability already: http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=311

It's a very powerful skill if you don't put limitations on it, since he can mutilate people just by touching them. I think that's too powerful for a beginning character unless you put restrictions on it, such as it has to take a certain amount of time for him to perform on someone, and the person has to be holding still.

I think the energy traits are likewise a little vague. It says that he can 'cause physical damage' to living things just by being around. We need to know the extent of this damage and there needs to be clear limitations. Otherwise he can just hurt everyone around him just by being there and there's nothing they can do about it, which is too powerful.

Hey I'm done with exams and I fixed Adamas. I made a very detailed description of Adamas power and made room for advancement for it. I got rid of flesh molding for surgical knowledge. And made a slight change in history.
