Player Name: Kevin =D

Name: Tolki Karnes

Age: 18

Race: Human

Height: 5'10

Weight: 160

Physical Description: Tolki stands slyly at a mere 5'10. A slim, healthy lad. Shaggy, shorter brown hair that can run into his vision. True brilliant green eyes. Face is a tad on the rugged side, showing young ageing. As fit for a theif, Tolki relies on a consistent body to avoid trouble.

Possessions:
-Set of black colored pants and long sleeve shart.
-Black leather belt
-Matching dark cloak and hood
-Back-sack with aloe vera plant stems, two rusty lock picks, a roll of cloth bandages, pair of fine leather moccasins, and a few Bishani.
-Two finely crafted daggers. One with an azure colored hilt and the other with a hilt of of ember.

Powers or Strengths:

Stealth: Tolki is light on his feet, and being a character of his profession requires this. Unless sensing the movement of his body, Tolki is not often heard.

Quick: When it comes to scrambling Tolki is quick to the draw. A natural reflex, fleeing has often been his shining attribute.

Tricky: An innocent smile always conceals his intended objects. A master of the mirror, Tolki can walk some one into a trap of his with ease.

Cautious: One to look before he leaps. This feat can be overrun by his occasions of an ego trip. But most the part, as cautious as a rabbit.

Weaknesses:

- Inexperienced - Young and little knowledge in battle. Mostly he took what he could and hauled out before danger could approach him. Basically knows how to wave his daggers around and appear threatening.

- Ego - The daggers Tolki stumbled upon gave him a newfound ego. That with shiny daggers he could be the best thief around. Always seeming to flaunt them, not much bark behind his words.

- Hasty - Tolki likes to pick what he believes is the best course of action and rolls with it. Luckily he still has his skin.

- Snake Phobia - Who doesn't hate snakes? =)

History: Never wandering too far from the town of Shim, Tolki's often called a street rat. No particular home he possesed, he slept where he fell, primarily near the banks of the Ofriyu Mar. Tolki relied on small thefts to make his meat, be it stealing cabbages from one of the local farmers, or an apple pie from an unsuspecting house wife. Why bother with the authorities of Marn when things here were so easy to come by?

Yet one day he struck gold. While creeping through an old pasture on the outskirts of Shim, Tolki came across something. Mother nature had apparently buried this herself, a lock box, half putruding from the ground. A smirk than a grin, this would indeed be more fun than stealing another pig from old Baker, this had mystery!

For a good twenty minutes he worked on that box, before finally pulling it from the ground and landing right into a stack of old chicken coops. The noise it made! A yell from the north, and Tolki was gone, squeeling into the darkness with his unknown treasure. But had he left it there, life would have been that much simpler.

A giant rock met box, and it's contents laid inside. A twinkle in his eye, Tolki lifted the lid. Two daggers, finely crafted at that, and a simple note.

"Not for the avid thief."

Tolki withdrew the daggers from their previous holding. A crunch of leaves behind him sounded, an animal? No, too heavy. Than the sound of voices, were they coming for him? Apparently he stole the wrong apple pie, those voices didn't sound happy. "Know ye'r 'round street mouse, tire' you stealin' our crops day after day, 'nna gut ye like a lil' piggy."

Oh so now they've decided they'd had enough? Tolki took his daggers, and hauled it through the woods. Shim was too risky now. He knew he was known, for the wrong reasons. And hell, he himself wasn't entirely brave enough to thieve at night. What if he was drawn through while leaning over a kitchen window, he'd never see 'em coming.

He was going to go big, or fall down and flounder. A grin as he made his way down the path to Marn, the big city. A slight shiver ensued upon his spine. Ignorance can only carry you so far, and he was walking on foreign ground. He'd return one day, Kaledin Manor always made him rub his greedy hands as he passed by the fence. Luxuries were never his, but they would be. Oh they would, in time...

Tolki wanted to be the best of the best, and he felt he was getting there. He was one of the biggest nuisances in Shim by golly! Little did he know, the town of Shim was a cake walk to the brilliant city of Marn. What he did in Shim was child's play in Marn.

The daggers had inspired an unyielding ego, making a child believe he was man, ready to walk the walk. Tolki was ever hardly ever able to talk his talk to pitchforks!

The daggers seemed to curse Tolki that day. They placed a child in a man's world, an ignorant child, at that.

I would like to see more information, your application is very brief. Some things to include:

1.
Accompaning his hips lie two finely crafted daggers, both unique.
Where did he get them and what sort of training, if any does he have with them?

2. Why does he carry lock picks? Did he take after his father and become a thief?

3. How/why is he so quick on his feet? How fast is he? Inhumanly fast? Has he been doing it since he was young? Did it take him many years of practicing to gain such speed?

4. Under weaknesses it says that he has been alone since the age of 11 yet in the history it says that he didn't run away from home until the age of 17.

5. Why was his mother executed, it seems like an incredibly harsh punishment for someone to receive for holding back information from the Guard.

6. What is his purpose if any in life? Does he seek information as to the death of his family? Is he planning revenge for the murders of his parents?

Hi Niabi.

I believe I've made the neccesary corrections, and thanks for your input! I'm glad to see you all like to have ideas well thought out, and at the time I was a little pressed for time.

Oh, and Thorren was 17, the commas made it confusing. :P

Thanks
