Welp, umm, hey everyone. I have RPed in the past, but it was very different than what you have here, and about two years ago at that. I looked around the site for a few days and finally decided to whip up a character before I leave town tomorrow. I just wanted to have that much done, and from the looks of it she seems to be approved, which I didn't expect to happen so quickly.

My character Reia is a young girl who cannot speak, has some ESP/Telekinetic abilities and is curious to a fault. As of now I have absolutely no clue as to what I will do with her, but I'm sure something will come eventually. I'm not so confident in my writing abilities... it's been a while, but I'll try my best, and given time I hope I can improve. So I look forward to writing with everyone here and getting to know you as well.

I'm Ra and Faizel, though most people just refer to me as Jacob, any work. Glad you decided to join, the people here are amazing, I've been here for a month, and they've made me right at home. I can totally understand the lack of faith in writing ability, as anyone here could tell you I'm sure, I have no faith in my own haha. I didn't know what was going to happen with Ra, but an opportunity snuck up on me, finding a plot to get your character in isn't as daunting of a task as it could be, since the people here are incredibly friendly.

Hey Reia. I'm Jeremy, but everybody just refers to me as Drake, so you can too. I play the character by that name as well as Angren the barbarian and Nichatus the battlemage. Judging by the character application I'd venture to say that your writing skills haven't accumulated too much rust. Not to give you a big head or anything, but very few characters get approved that quickly. Well, welcome to Thar, and I must second the motion for you to join us in the chat whenever you can. It's probably the quickest way to get to know people, find plots, and get help. It also has the added bonuses of some interesting conversation and the occasional snip-it of fun facts about people's writing and characters. So, again, welcome to the insanity.
