Possible RP to link into the Rebellion Arc: Shadows from the Sewers

==Links==
The RP: http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3081
Plot Discussion: http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3080
=========

Darrik (and likely Toast) would classify as Pro-Government

As the RP is still in its infancy, there are many possible hooks available.

Some immediate thoughts:
- the as-yet unrevealed villains of this thread could be related to the Rebellion in some fashion. One of the villains is definitely a magic user (possibly some kind of beastmaster or shifter - that too is still flexible)

- currently, the status of the 'victims' remains ambiguous. The IC assumption is that they are dead, but there are no corpses, only anecdotal evidence to suggest it. There is, therefore, room for some or all of the 'victims' to be alive and supporting the rebellion (perhaps someone in the rebellion has a use for people who are 'officially deceased', or perhaps their circumstances didn't allow them to act to support the rebellion without having their deaths faked)

Send me a PM or we can chat next time I catch you online :)

When I edited my original 'dwarf guard available' post, it didn't seem to broadcast that fact.

So, no fault of yours: it was a fair assumption that there had been no change given that the board page was still saying 'last update April 17'

When I noticed that myself, I figured I'd better drop you an FYI =p

Posts come in their own time. I know I'm looking forward to attending the ball ... and that was publicised last September! :D

The Gala has happened. Bombings have occurred. Chaos and terror are the order of the day.

Madiana Morrington is dead.

Judge Vyaduka is dead.

Latifa Vyaduka is in critical condition.

Metarie Sehkhara is in critical condition.

Lorenna Abernathy has figured out something about Navarre.

Luca Abernathy is trying to be a hero.

Captain Smithson is working himself to exhaustion.

The guard factions are even more delineated.

Minister of Medicine, Guile Markus has excessive blood loss and continues to work.

Andras and Hanuel are cleaning up loose ends.

Vicentius is interested in a pair of buns.

What's next? OMG OMG OMG I must know!

By the darkest rite of necromancy, I revive this thread to preform its dark purpose

"So Ivone will coax Fargo get Madiana to organise the party, and Aurelio and myself will encourage the spirit of healthy competition in him. Andras' gang will make the heroin deal with the suppliers, and Haneul will make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." She gave a quick smile to the woman. "That's quite a few things that need to work, but it's nothing we haven't done before"

Shanuri didn't mention her plan to get Fargo to make Aureus Dance the entertainment of the party in return for sleeping with him later. They didn't seem to have any plan of action once they got into the party, besides supporting Ivone's effort to get the right drug into the right person. Really though, that part of the plan is almost 100% Ivone.

Haneul and Andras have successfully gotten the drugs to the right supplier, at the small cost of being about as subtle as a brick through a window in the process. I guess that means Haneul failed her job, as outlined by Shanuri above ;)

This means that currently, a big part of our plan is currently in limbo. Near as I can tell, we currently face what amounts to two options before moving forward.

1. Define It: We whip ourselves into gear and get Ivone, Aurelio, and Shanuri to complete their side of the planning, organizing the party. Potentially a brief, late-thread appearance by Andras to educate Ivone as to the drug she is supposed to get to Morrington (Since one in the shipment will be lethal: she'll need to grab this) and the false drug she is going to take in order to make it look like she is a victim. The benefit of defining all this would be that we have considerably more to work with when this all fails: how everything went wrong and the drug got into the wrong hands would be clearly defined, and we'd know exactly what we need to do. It would also expand on our character's relationships to one another. The downside is the considerable extra time this would take.

2. Skip It: We skip right to everybody panicking in Aurelio's basement. This would take very little time, but the only definite course of action we'd have to take is Andras and Haneul going on a manhunt for the supplier, who knows their appearances and may has clues from which he could even piece together Andras' identity. Everything else would have to be inferred or discussed out of character.

Kit, go read the Ivone thread leading into Ivone posts in Physician Heal Thyself.

Oh! My mistake. I thought that was just about Khayyam, having skipped to the end in an effort to get context. Well that simplifies things! And is a little embarrassing!

We can probably pick things up with a new thread, if everyone is willing. The aftermath awaits us, and I think it's time we started back up again.

I agree.

Time to figure out what effect (if any) this paltry attempt at overthrowing the government had.

Given the fizzle, I vote for it had the unexpected (or expected) backlash of increasing patriotism, introduction of new laws, and the skulking off a few people who thought they were major players.

Certainly, I would like to see the Navarre thread come into play.

With Kamar back, he's got a battle mage character -- maybe the battle mage could investigate Navarre? Or maybe, partner up? Dunno!

And Luca and Jacel! Wot wot! More of that please.

Lastly, I will post in Physican - at least 3-day's later as suggested so we can pick that up and close out that thread.

AFTERMATH!

Chiming back in again, here!

Those pesky rebels have skulked off. Navarre is still Navarre.

Time to pickup the pieces and live more paranoid than before (?).
