Can't wait to meet Javier, the distant relative to Candyaxe Flint of Qadis :D

But I'm a but unsure of where Brokk and Renee is at the moment. Did you mean Javier's is located in the residental district, or did they enter downtown again when Brokk took lead and they turned around corners again ?

Am I free to describe Javier's as I like, as temporary vague stop, or do you already have ideas for how we should describe it ? Or does this place already exist in threads of other people ? Same questions for Javier himself. Don't want to spoil the fun in case you already have good ideas for the short guy and feel like giving him life and personality ^^

We could probably turn it into a permanent installation if we wanted. :P

We're still headed to the Residential District, as he's based there, though the nature of his work means that he has to have a number of premises on the go at any one time, which usually follow the rambling route of the Night Market. It's a running gag among customers that if you see smoke and it's not coming from a drink, you skedaddle before it goes awry. The primary site would be a basement bar midway between the university and the heavily populated areas, as he does brisk trade with the students and wealthy youths. Part Tavern, Part Alchemy Lab and Kaleidoscope, it tends to be spartan in decoration to save expense on replacements, but securely reinforced, with drapes, lights and clever architecture making up for the less sophisticated furnishings.

Javier himself, you're free to run with, but I imagine him playing up his Corezan roots to seem exotic to the Marn crowd. :P

Same, really stoked to see where this is going.
Based on where this ends we can set the basis for the future thread maybe.

1 : Happy Christmas !

2 : It has started to feel like Renée is getting too drunk for business :P

I'm wondering if the best may be to let the evening in the bar be the last element in this thread. We could just write them into feeling like the best of business buddies. Then continue business a few days later, with night market and other things, in a new thread.

What do you think?

1) Happy christmas to you too!

2) Well, we could end it with them passing out at the bar, or we could end it with Ren carrying a drunken Renee back ot Renee's house and Renee waking up the next day. :P

And happy new year too :D

If you are alright with it, I could make a timeskip to the next morning and wrap up with a retrospective for Renee.

It's done. Let's see if you'll want to add and exit for Brokk ...

We started to write this story in April last year. It has been nearly nine months and it has been really entertaining ! It was fun every time people wrote a new post. A thousand thanks to all. In lieu of a heart smiley I'll give you a happy dance
