Yeah, definitely, but the whole plot might still be somewhat on hold for a while, while everyone's busy irl.

Eesh. Not much to update, but updated anyways. We're so slow.
Now that I'm back if there's anyone interested in having something to do with this, even if it's a little bit, either hop on in (just let me know so I can update) or post in here to work out all the details.

Hi! I just registered a few days ago and am still thinking about what character to create.I am very green at this particular type of RP-ing, so it will take some time before I get the hang of it (especially because I will have to write in a different language) While preparing to create a character, I noticed this thread and I noticed that you are looking for anti-rebellion characters in particular. I also read in the rules that its a good idea to start small with your first character. So, I decided to create an everyday man. A 9-to-5 worker, if you will. By doing this I will have a chance to explore the effects a rebellion such as this will have on the everyday man. Would it be a good idea if I make my character a very low ranking soldier, who follows orders and doesn't ask a lot of questions? Will he fit the story?

Agafangel,
Hi! By starting small, we mean don't make the character overpowered.
A regular guy is a great choice. In addition to reading the rules, read the setting and get familiar with it. A good understanding of the setting, beliefs, and politics is your best approach. Then, create a character.
Make sure your username and character name are the same.
Thanks!

Yes! One small caveat though -- while the guards in Marn can act as soldiers in a pinch, they are more city guards than soldiers. The city guardsmen will indeed work as a nice counterpoint to the rebellion.

Yes! More everyday 9-5ers! That is exactly what we need. I haven't seen your character yet, but I'm sure I will love it. I just wish more people would take the "start small" rule as a suggestion to create an everyman's man so that we better represent normal members of society.
