As for the whole thing about new ideas, it doesn't really matter how new it is so much as how effectively you use it! After all, the whole point of being an author is to express ideas you care about and to move your audience. No need to be an inventor as well.

Hey there folks! I'm Dia Lyn, and I just barely joined today, I've been looking for a serious Freeform RP for a while and this seems to be just the kind of thing for me!

I suppose it would be good to tell you a bit about myself: Well, for starters I've been writing for many years, mostly poetry and things like short stories, and I've been role-playing since I was seven years old, using Tabletop RPG's like Dungeons & Dragons and the like, but since then I've really enjoyed the more open and expressive RP's that I've found!

I really like meeting new people, and I like to think of myself as approachable so feel free to say hi! I look forward to meeting all of you!

I'm an artist and salesman by trade, and I enjoy reading in my spare time. I've been pbp writing since 2008 on the net, mostly science fiction, but enjoy your setting already. Women usually bribe me with chocolate, gas money, and Netflix movies. Hehe. And I don't talk religion, politics, or sports. But Game of Thrones is nice.

Hello everybody, I'm Koh! I found Thar Shaddin through an RP directory. Needless to say, I've been stalking the site for the past 3 days...

Um, so a bit about me. I've been PbP RPing on and off since I was 13. So... about 8 years. I really enjoy RPG of the video game kind (omg I wish Witcher 3 would come out already!) and often write soppy, half-assed fanfiction of all my virtual adventures. May it never see the light of day! That's as far as my writing goes and I'm the first to admit that I'm not the world's greatest writer.

As for other forms of arts, I do digital art (mostly boring boring pics of my characters) and a little bit of crafting, if you consider that an art. And as far as music goes, the only thing I know about it is that I prefer listening to it over the yowls of a cat in heat. Also, I have an amazingly dirty mind when the sun goes down. Somehow, UV rays suppress the urge to giggle like a 14 year old at the mention of the word 'moist'.

I live in Western Australia, the biggest state! Or, as Urban Dictionary defines it, "the westy part of australia". Yeah, Sahuli pride! I mean... But um, I am having difficulty with the chat. Whenever I open the window, it comes up with an XML Parsing Error. Anyone else experiencing that?

Whenever I hear the word 'moist' I instantly think of Dead Like Me. (for reference) Don't worry, most of us have gutterbrain. More Australians! Also, one day, once you've been initiated I expect a dramatic reading of the worst of your fanfictions. Because. (we can be a rough crowd, but we mean well <3 )

Hi there. I've come to introduce myself after I figured out there was such a place to do it. My name is Keene and I'm 28 years old (Nearing the 30 I know, I should retired already). I currently live in sweden (Where I am originally from), but I lived in Alaska for 3 years. I've played some roleplaying on forums in the past and I remember having some great times. Maybe I am getting too old for this but there's no sense in not trying something you remember enjoying right? I do play a lot of roleplaying in real life, like Dungeons and dragons, gurps, white wolf ect ect.. I just stopped a campagin that had been running for 10 years! Been a good couple of years, lots of fun. I am currently also running a dungeons and dragons campaign for my little brother and some of his friends, and that have been good fun. I guess what I am trying to say is that although I might lack "Online" experience, my passions is there!

So I live in my appartment with my 2 cats. Hey gotta have some company right? They tend to freak me out from time to time. I don't believe in the supernatural, but here the other day I was in another room and looked trough the crack in the door to the bedroom. My cat was in there, she was staring into nothing while doing a begging movements with her paws she ONLY does when she wants to be cuddles by humans.. Cats man. And of course they try to kill me by tripping me all the time and prevent me from writing/playing by sleeping on my hands. Yes good fun.

I earn my living as a waiter in a resturant. Not very fancy I know but at least it puts the money on the table. And here in a couple of months I will begin an education to become an animator. So that's really exciting! And I am practising my french. So far all I can say is a couple of rude things and that I don't understand. But it's fun! Languages is fun! SO in case you haven't guessed, I enjoy drawing a lot, I still have much to learn but I am working on it as often as I can. Such a tryhard.

And now I don't know what to talk about anymore. But if you ever feel like writing with me, LETS DO IT. If you can overcome the disappointment of my not so perfect english and weird sentence structure. I have no friends here yet so I could use someone to play with, IF my character gets accepted..
