Just wanted to let you all know - my husband was laid off yesterday. This may mean that we might have to cancel our internet access at home. If so - I'll only be able to get online about once a week from the library. I will do my best to keep up with posting, but may be delayed sometimes. Hopefully things will all work out quickly... Just an update for everyone involved in this thread.

It's being put on temporary hold for three reasons:
Aleah's (Mei Li's) husband just got back and she's spending time with him, and deserves some time with him cause she never sees him.
Ree's in late pregnancy and will surely need some time for that soon.
And Alyson's having net and financial problems.

So with all this stuff laid out before us, I think a break for a few weeks is in order. This isn't an indefinite suspension. We will need our characters back soon and posting can happen when people have a chance, but the 3 day wait period is waved for now.

I'm asking for things to pick up again around the second or third week of feb. That gives us a month of slowing down. After that, I'm going to start pushing...

Ok by me. I'm in the hospital starting the 6th of February and don't expect to come home until around the 11th, so you may have to adjust the date for being pushy.

When the time gets a little closer (as if 2 1/2 weeks isn't close enough?) I'll post my absence.

Well, it's moving along slowly, but it's moving.

pfft. i posted. short and crappy but its there. feel free to auto Mei Li for the little stuff like change in scenery or whatever. after "lunch" i'll move her along to gather her stuff - though presuming the RCI is the only Inn in the tiny town of Shim, her belongings are probably upstairs there and won't take me much more than a post or two to get her shit packed.

Yeah, it's a transitory period, we just gotta move through it. Epic posts aren't to be expected

I was waiting for Myllis to post - I didn't want to skip her. But I will be online today when Kyra takes her nap so I plan to post then either way. Looks like I'll be able to get online more (hubby got a job! YAY!) so I'll be posting more often!

Alyson, hooray! Glad to hear the good news for you and your family. I harbor quiet fear about getting laid off, so I can just imagine how stressful that must have been.
