I wanted to take a moment to post a hello before I headed out the door. It is quite by happenstance that I stumbled onto your community and I quickly became spellbound by it.

I look forward to meeting you all and I hope to start sharing storylines with you very soon. I have been playing forums games for several years now (round about 5), so I decided to try a more bestial character that might offer me an opportunity to write more narrative than character dialogue.

I tend to post at least once a day, often times more than that....if the thread supports it. I don't post on the weekends, but try to make up for that during the week. Again, I look forward to 'meeting' some of you soon and I am eager to see what stories we can make up together.

Hello everyone,

In the way long time ago of my youth I fell in love with PbP rpgs. I participated in quite a number but I don't think I was quite ready for it, then. I came across Thar Shaddin several years ago, but things didn't quite work out for me IRL to continue writing.

It makes me really happy to come back here years later to see it updated and active! My character sheet is in the application section and pending approval. Writing's one of the few things that genuinely make me happy, and writing fiction even more so. I look forward to creating some interesting stories with you all!

Hello! Abraxas here. Joined yesterday, currently working on my character application. It usually takes me a few days to flesh out a character sheet, so I figured I'd at least introduce myself to prove I'm not a bot or something, ha. I've been roleplaying since I was a tiny tot, and it's one of my favorite forms of gaming. I like the non-competitive bent of this place, but what hooked me was the fantasy/low-tech take on the Mediterranean/Eurasia. I hope to have my character ready for review as soon as possible and start getting to know and play with you guys. You can call me Abraxas, Abra, Abe, Joe... whatever suits your fancy.

So, “names” Sebastian. Feel free to call me Seb, but my other chat friends actually like to call me Bastian. I don’t prefer either over the other. I actually just joined today, still working on my character sheet.
Well, if you want to know anything else feel free to ask. I am wondering about one thing in particular- I wanted to bounce a few ideas off of some people about my character and kind of get a feel for what the people here would think about some of my personal favorite character “traits.” Now to the question… Would I create such an inquiry in a new topic in this discussion board? Sorry if this sounds silly, I just don’t want to go posting something, just to be told later that I was way off.
