Are you asking what a typical lifespan is? I'm not really clear on the question. :s

(this is saruna ) It varies widely from species to species. I have a dragonfly shifter whose people only live for 20-23 years, Pagusel is a cockroach shifter I believe only lives for a normal human span. There was a lynx shifter whose people I think only lived for 150 years (I'd have to look at it again to be sure). Werewolves probably are the ones to live for a couple centuries. As long as it's reasonable (mods prefer you don't have triple or over digit year old characters who are super powerful for your first app), it's up to your discretion.

Hi, everyone I have yet to make a character but will soon. I know it was stated that humans are a better first character to start out with but I have a love affair with Elves.
I have been a member of another room for about two months now and love it but now it is dying which is very sad!
Anyway, I am looking forward to posting and making new friends!

Misty, elves and any other acceptable race are open to be played by a new person we just happened to say that humans tend to be easier for people new to rp as well I'm sure everyone here knows what a human looks like and acts like and to some degree they can figure out what a human acts like. If you want to play an elf, go right ahead.

Hello, Thar Shaddin. I hail from the east coast of USA, in my cozy dorm room of college. I play text-based RP games that involved a lot of writing, reading, and diplomacy. More diplomacy than RPing, actually. I usually have hours of spare time when I act like an insomniac late at night (like now.. 5:53 am) and decided to find a RP forum for some serious fun.

I've been role-playing for 6-7 of my 18 years of life and focus on medieval settings more than anything else. I have played dice & paper RPGs such as D&D, D20, Changlings, Werewolf, Unknown Army, and a few other medieval RPGs that I forget the name of.

So pretty much, not an amateur, but I'm still here to have fun. As a last side note, I do tend to play scheming characters and I did read up that the game needs more evildoers. So I may just have Callandor Harte fill that spot. Look out for me

(Oh yeah and my character has yet to be finished/approved but you can check out what's already been done in the Character Creation forum.)

Hi everyone. I found you guys through google, and the setting looked good. As a D&D player with a knack for world building, the thought put into the setting grabbed my attention.

About me:
I live in North Florida, and hate it here. Stupid beeches and stupid tourists. I'm 25, a disabled Vet (Air Force), and a nerd. D&D was my introduction to the wonderful world of Nerd, and I've branched out into other pen-and-paper games, including Shadowrun and Dark Heresy. I play Warhammer 40K (Waaaaagh!), with more of an emphasis on the model building side of the hobby, though my orks have a solid track record of crushing my enemies, driving them before me, and hearing the lamentations of their women.
