but you will I presume play the merchant who will be in direct conflict with Thad. Who is Stella? In a way in a conflict it's perhaps more amusing if you don't know exactly what the opponent will do. Is Stella another person? If so perhaps one could give her some information about Thad so she could get the feeling of him.

I think we are approaching a confrontation between the merchant, Morry, Thad, Dianelopa, all of whom have different goals. But we are only 3 people. How do we do this?

I would say, play Thad until we come to a point where you might be playing both Thad and his opponent. Then we should have two different people playing such a confrontation.
