Yeah I heard about it. Pretty famous. People thought aliens were invading hehe. There is already a war of the worlds movie though. This is a remake of that one...

Oh wow! Um, hmmmm. I wasn't expecting to drop into the ending of a verbal war. Meh *shrugs*
I believe Blood Ravenous said she wanted to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A friend of mine and myself are planning to go see that the day it comes out here on the 15th. Should be fun

And I totally agree with what you said Raven,
The older one is the best, but with Depp it'll be cool too.
Ooo! War of the Worlds! My dad was a kid when the radio show played. He said there were a lot of deaths as a cause of it, especially since so many thought it was serious. And the actual movie, like Frug says, is a remake. In fact, there are 2 War of the Worlds movies. One is a British mini-series movie and the other is American. We have the British one here at home. It's somewhat creepy though since it has the stilted imaging and jerky movement that people in old reel movies have. It makes it rather anoying to watch actually. I would love to see the American version and the remake though. Sounds like it will be good.

Oh really? Didn't know that. I should see the old one at some point, also. Some things are just classic with less technology employed, but then again technology makes it cooler looking, eh?
I saw this little preview thingy on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and they trained real squirrels to do a scene! So when you see that, they're real! Actually, even the chocolate river is real... The only thing not real is most of the oompa loompas (sorry don't know how to spell those) b'cuz they based it off one guy then they multiplied him with the computer. Heh.

The chocolate river real?! I just read something about that in a magazine article today called "Behind the Scenes of the New Movie
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Jamie Kiffel. This is what the magazine quoted.
A food-thickening agent was added to water that had been dyed chocolate-brown with food coloring.
~Production Designer Alex McDowell
So, its not supposed to be read chocolate. But the squirls are real though. And your other info about the Oompa-Loompas is true also. Some of the chocolate bars were fake though since so much chocolate would have melted under the lighting.

Oh, well that's what my dad told me, that everything was real (but the oompas) since I didn't watch the whole show. It does look like real chocolate tho (^_^)

Fake chocolate ain't that bad. When they do photography of ice cream, they tend to use mashed potatoes so it doesn't melt under the lights.
Think about that, pouring chocolate syrup on potatoes...

I've totally done that. I have really disgusting taste in food. The best potato-chocolate combination though? Fries dipped in chocolate milkshake. Broccoli boiled or sauteed in Coke is good too.

Disgusting, nah I prefer the term 'unique'. lol
The fries in chocolate milkshake I've done. The broccoli thing I have not. Although, I wouldnt mind trying it though. The sugar in the coke sounds like it would make a great sauce.

Well I'm willing to try everything once, and I usually think most things are pretty good. Liver sucks, unless it's duck liver or it's made into pate. I fear that dipping fries into a chocolate shake would just make them soggy, but I'll bet chocolate syrup works. I'd try it if i ever had either one.

Good fries wouldn't get soggy, since you just dip them in real quick. Man, that's really good! Reminds me of pie. Mmm. I do it whenever possible.
