Fay snarled and yanked the blade from her thigh. Moving fast she dodged the blades and shifted. A snarling half-fox woman leaped fast and hard towards Kori, her teeth sinking deep into his shoulder - claws digging into anything they could reach. Fay had had enough. She flipped before Kori could retort, her jaws still embedded in his shoulder, then pulled, flipping Kori with her. As a human she'd never be able to do this - but with adrenaline and animalistic rage pouring through her half-fox frame - she was able to do it easily enough. She wasn't worried about being caught - all the patrons had left by now and it was just Kori and Fay. The giant man slammed against the table - effectively shattering it on impact. No... Fay was not happy. Quickly she flashed away - human once more - her dark cloak hiding her from the light.

Kori stood up, pulling splinters the size of arrows out of his body. He looked for the shifter.

"Come my little demon. I'll show you how a Rising Bear man bites. And I won't let go. Shift once again, I dare you. Fight me at your strongest."

He was done playing around. Lifting his chainmail and bear cloak completely off his body, he stood in nothing but his boots and pants, the only things adorning him his Mjolnir and barbarian tattoos, glistening with blood and sweat. Pulling Bearfang from it's sheath, he pulled his other dagger from his pack. Berfang and Wolftalon matched daggers, moose antler handles. To call them daggers was funny, because Kori was the only person who would consider the 19 inches single edged blades a dagger. Smashing his closed fist into his chest twice, Kori bellowed.

"COME THEN! FACE ME DEMON! WHEN I KILL YOU, YOUR FUR WILL SIT IN MY PACK UNTIL I FIND A HOME, THEN IT WILL BE NAILED ON THE WALL! COME! FIGHT ME TRICKSTER!" Baring his fangs, Kori roared, so like the wild Kodiak of the North that humans three blocks away rolled in their beds, dreams clutched in fear.

Fay was unamused. Why was this man being so stupid? Drawing both her blades Fay retorted not in words but in actions. Summoning every ouch of speed from her being Fay flashed in front of Kori - her blades slicing skin, tendons, anything they could reach. She danced out of his reach before flashing in again - one blade sinking into his chest - the other into his shoulder.

"I am no demon. I am no warrior. I am an assassin." Fay snarled - shifting fast and clamping her jaws around his throat - her teeth digging into his jugular.

Kori felt the knives. He felt the teeth, that was for sure. Gripping his daggers, he drove them deep into the guards sides, feeling them grate against her ribs, feeling the pop and loss of resistance as the popped into her organs and chest cavity. Letting go, he felt the blood pumping into her mouth and down his chest.

"Next time... make sure I can't use me arms." Grabbing her head, he yanked, ripping her teeth from his throat and jerking her head, snapping the guards neck.

"Just to return a favor."

As his vision went black from loss of blood, Kori dug his fanged maw into the guards neck as she had done him. He bit in on the sides of her neck, the benefit on having a huge mouth, and as he breathed his last, he felt his teeth touch.

Fay felt the blades dig into her side and bit down harder into Kori's neck, knowing this was the end for them both. She felt organs pop and deflate - instantly it was hard to breath and the agony was unbelievable. Blood came up through her throat and out of her mouth - her eyes glazing over - but she would not let go.

"Next time... make sure I can't use me arms." Fay mentally laughed as he pulled her head back - ripping his jugular open. Goodbye... Father, Mother... I will see you soon. I am just sorry I never avenged your deaths. Fay smiled and felt Kori's hands twist her head - heard a snap - then nothing. Fay was dead when Kori bit her head off with his last breath, her lifes blood draining onto the floor, her Father's blades buried in the dead man. With one last pump of her heart - a trickle of stray blood dripped down and caressed the locket her mother had given her, staining and coloring the once pure metal with death.
