Well at first I was thinking that Niabi would try to hang back and observe Alistair. She would try to wait until he let his guard down and then she would probably try to seduce him and smash his chest in, but now I'm thinking that I might want to take it in a different direction. Nia can see that he has some sort of friendship with the bird/ferret shifter and she might think that Alistair could be a shifter himself (which would explain why the wolf didn't kill him) and she might then try to make friends with him or at least not try to kill him.

Sounds good to me anyway Naibi might be interested in helping Alistair rob someone and steal there identity, so he can sneak into Marn?

I don't know how much help she would be at that. She might be easily convinced to go along if she thinks she is helping a friend, but as far as being sneaky and lying, yeah she isn't that great at it. Sure she can be somewhat deceiving when she wants to be (when she is trying to seduce and murder somebody) but if/when you get her to talk she doesn't understand the reasoning behind lying or being subtle. She doesn't keep secrets at all.

Basically if she decides you are a friend, she will trust you and follow you around and try to protect you if she can. To an extent the same goes for anybody that a friend deems as a friend. So if she is convinced that Alistair is a shifter and decides that he is a friend, anybody he announces to be a friend of his would avoid her trying to kill them (that doesn't mean that she might not want to hurt them for some reason but chances are she would not kill them because that would anger her friend).

What I'm thinking is, if Alistair lies to her, she most likely will believe it and go along with it because unless it's something that is super obviously not true, she has no reason not to believe him and like I said she doesn't understand the concept of lying or keeping secrets.

Sounds good I was imagining her being used more as decoy pretending to be hurt or luring people away from something rather than lying or something. Are you hoping to take Naibi out of the woods and make her more socialized or is that an aspect of her character you like, because once Alistair is settled into
Marn he'll probably try and put together a crew of some sort and Naibi will probably be his first recruiting focus.

I don't mind her leaving the woods and I can see her possibly following him but she would be reluctant in doing so. Marn would be a massive scary place for her. She has seen the town from across the river and she has seen a lot of people coming and going from the town but actually being in the town surrounded by humans would be rather frightening for her.

I do want her to eventually learn to be more social, to be a little more open-minded and learn a little bit of what it means to be human, but I want this to be a long, slow process for her.

As far as being or causing some sort of distraction, I don't see her having a problem with this. I'd be willing to bet that Nia would be the only woman in Marn walking around topless. I would be very surprised if men didn't stop to stare at her and women were adverting their eyes, covering the eyes of children and muttering comments of her "having no shame."
