I have no problem what-so-ever playing with the new guy. I suppose we could start in Elvren's shop, or some such? Perhaps Chez needs some more arrowheads made, or some such.

We can start a new thread to discuss, or we can discuss here...

Dumdum? Who says dumdum?
Firstly: You're welcome, at least SOMEONE found it useful.

Secondly: I said dumdum. Because Kamar was being one. So nyer.

Good. I'd like to start playing ASAP.

Those initial ideas sound fine. You've been here for longer than me, and know what you're doing, so I'll let you lead, and follow Xyon's advice for now. I have this morbid fear of crossing the lines and getting banned so I'm a bit nervous about playing with a moderator (I gleaned as much from Xyon and his "spiky admin chain" remarks).

I've no specific direction in mind for Elvren's character, I just made him up in about twenty minutes to fit in here. It'd be nice to get involved with something so soon.

Opening a new thread might be best, then Xyon can keep this one to hit you with the admin chain. Elvren's shop might be a good place to start, as I've already got a few descriptive ideas in mind for it, so the first post could be Chez hearing tell of a blacksmith and seeking it out, or some such, and I can post behind. Or, if you feel like putting me on the spot (please god no...) I could make the first post (swallows hard).

Up to you.

*edit*. A few afterthoughts. Elvren provides blacksmith services for a price, but healthcare is free. People who are genuinely ill and impoverished deserve healthcare as much as the wealthy. Somehow, he manages to make enough of the smithing to cover the overheads and live comfortably. The shop has a large sign over it announcing "Sigorax Blacksmith & Infirmary."

Xyon - dumdum is ancient.

Indeed we shall.
