Hi, thinking about joining and wondering what's going on. I've done online RP before, through EZ board, and first became interested in this RP a long time ago. Alas, my life became insane, and I had to abandon RP for a while. But now my life has become, if not more sane, at least more manageable. I'm still interested in joining, but it looks like you guys are having a little trouble getting off the ground again. What's up?

If we're having trouble getting off the ground again now it's my fault, i've been putting off doing a plot summary and properly getting people into the right forums. If I have the energy tonight, I'll do it. It shouldn't be too much of a problem though, once the playing has started.

You're absolutely welcome to join, I suggest reading what I have written up so far about magic, the history and setting (which needs some addition and revision but is still accurate). You can find the small amount of info on races here : http://terrehaute.rpboard.com/rp/faq.php and read the rules on character creation. That'll give you an idea of the setting, and I'm constantly adding to it since ezboards deleted all my old stuff.

You can make a character now or you can wait until I've outlined what's happening with the other characters to find out what kind of character you want to use, although if you're willing to be creative you can find a place for pretty much any character. Except a vampire.

Ah Frug.. you and your hatred towards Vampires, ...well I have to agree that it would be stupid for a Vampire to be wandering around if they weren't working for Bela

Well, you can play a vampire if you want to. But I'm asking that you don't, and it's not because I don't like them. There just aren't supposed to be many, and we need other things. Humans and elves are always good, we can always use more. And I don't like elves, they're pansies, for the record. I'd simply never say that to ones face.

Belatucadrus is the resident vampire and he doesn't like having many others around. You could always kill Bela, I'm more than willing to let him die. But I don't suggest trying it alone. And you can't go out during the day, I have periods when I don't use Bela at all because I can't. That would be annoying if I liked playing him more, but he's old and boring.

Remember you need permission to kill someone elses character, but if you can agree on something with people you can do anything you want. Also for the record, you can go ahead and try to kill my characters. I like to think I'm fair, and I love a good plot.

I'm not challenging you, just commenting on the "it would be stupid remark".

Sounds good. I guess this board was just recently moved, so I shouldn't expect it to be all up and running already. I've just had some bad luck with RP boards and want to make sure this one's gonna make it before I join.

So, is everyone waiting until you get that plot summery going or can people just start random threads in the mean time? I think you mentioned something about it being ok to start threads in another area, but I'm a little unclear. Just trying to figure out what's going on.

Oh, by the way, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I didn't want to be all selfish and start a new thread or anything, and I thought this was as good a place as any.

Feel free to use this forum for whatever you want. Just try not to post unrelated stuff in the player communication forum, which is where I just posted my just-written plot summary that I probably need to edit and revise.

You should read that, and think about joining one of the threads described. Don't make your own thread because I don't think anyone will join it. Not unless you arrange something. Although you technically can.
