It's coming rather soon - finishing up the post right now! Not stopping until it's up!
As I'm sitting in a packed and noisy McD's, there' s no great incentive to want to linger, believe me....

M'kay, it be here --
http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3033
I've started us in the Central area. Supposing that guards HQ, the Justice hall, or the hospital will be the first stop, depending.
Unless someone gives us reason to, we probably won't be staying there too long. Other areas will be our destinations.
So this first one may be a short thread, but personally I'm okay with that. I still prefer to have the posts going on where they belong, even if we end up with a few short ones.
I think some time jumps will be par for the course, until we are at a certain point. So if anyone wishes to summarize and advance us to whatever relevant point, please don't hesitate.
In the trend we've established, I have some lyrical snippets to set the tone of this next part. But, they didn't seem fitting just
yet, so we'll have those a little later.

AFAIK, yes.
But, don't blame me if a fox-eared boy knocks you flat and steals one of your boots. And then insults your horse. (deserved or no)

Wait what?
Um, yeah. Posting order should still be normal.

Was kidding.
But affirming you don't mess lightly with Kitan. ~_^

Oh, okay. Hard to tell with only text sometimes.
Anyways, posted. Maybe I should have added Kitan's grasp of narrative as a strength. I think he's coming scarily close to figuring out the basic plot!

Feel free to overhear anything, so long as you don't
all overhear my little fox's muttering. gotta keep it believable, after all.

Largely deaf in one ear, Morveya is great for missing mutterings. And presages of danger. That side just happens to be facing the source when it serves the story.
And it looks like I'm up again. Should have the next in by tomorrow.

BOO!
Okay, so I'm a liar!!
Combination of real life -- and, I confess -- I finally got a chance to play in a Scion game. An RPG I read years ago, and have been eager to play ever since. The character creation process was lengthy, involved. (And really fun, actually) But, the game itself is not a demanding one. In fact, after all that, I have my doubts about its prospects for the long term. But, hey; at least I will have played, finally!
Anyrate, back on track here, now.

And here I was thinking that Clarisse was the shifty liar

good to see you haven't fallen off of the face of the earth.
Also should have a post up later today, kinda caught the same bug Morveya did and Ive been busting my butt building and painting models all week getting ready for a Warhammer 40k tournament next weekend, yay for finding people to finally play with!

Coolness. Okay, I should have mentioned this earlier but if you guys want to drive Kitan away from the intial meeting because it's "too risky" or something he has an easy way back into the plot, that being his job. If driven away out of concern for his saftey he'll just tell his boss, Nolan, he has a letter for the Aris family. Then he'll just show up at the house itself.
If you guys think it would be in character, anyways. <.<
Now I'm off to work on my post, although Kitan doesn't have much to do at the moment. It likely will not be a very long one.

Hope the convention is fun!
Hmm.
I had been planning that Morveya will insist on meeting in a (well lit) public place, of her own choosing; probably an inn, or maybe even a park, or such. After all, she has never met any of these people before, and cannot be certain who may actually show up.
And still debating how the relative will respond to that. And whether they insist that she be alone, or no. Not insisting so could be used as a device to make her feel more comfortable, and less suspicious. OTOH, it might be better (from the story perspective) to have Morveya form her own conclusion about what she is told, and have that in place, before the others find out what it is. (What is being asked is something she is likely to be somewhat sympathetic toward.)
As opposed to others being present, and sort of teaming against the relative, with their own questions, that might make her think in ways she otherwise would not.

I'm thinking we should jump ahead to arriving at the inn, do a bit of a settling in, then move this to the following day.
Am open to most any variations, if anyone has differing idea...

Kitan wouldn't go to the inn, he'd just head back to the mail station where his quarters are. Why pay for an inn when your room is just a little ways down the city streets? He'd jump right back to the group in the morning, and I can't see Kitan as anything less than a very early riser.
If the party is going to have another encounter there, or something important is going to happen, I can just sit out for a few posts. If not, we might as well jump all the way to tomorrow morning. I can post as needed to make this all make sense.
Sorry for making things complicated, haha. Other than that, I have no problems.
